Eddie House?
how about offering this guy a 1 year deal? hes a really good 3 point shooter and he can give some depth at the guard position.

I think he would be a great pickup but i believe he wants to go to a contender. Another name we should look at is Jason Kapono. The sixers are willing to trade him and he is arguably the best 3-point shooter in the NBA percentage wise.

And we continue with bringing up names from rosters past...
In all seriousness, though, Eddie House IS a name that has crossed my mind a couple of times as a veteran option at the guard slot. He would fill a lot of what we need. Absolutely worth putting out feelers to test his interest. Unfortunately, I am doubtful a deal could work out to get him.

This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Re: Eddie House?
Doesn't Eddie House HAVE a ring already? As far as championship contenders go, I'd say either Miami or Orlando. But I don't see anything wrong with at least extending a humble offer to him. What would we really have to lose?

If House was going to sign a short stop-gap type of deal, I am sure he would rather play for a playoff contender.

Perhaps. I mean, if he wants to contend, then more power to him. But he doesn't necessarily HAVE to ring chase either, since he has one. That's all I'm saying. And we don't have that bad of a future ourselves, with the pieces we have in place. He was just playing for the Knicks, so he can't really go anywhere BUT up.
