Chiacago is under the cap enough to absorb the extra 11 million in salary.
We wanted to move past the Carmelo Era and really build a better overall team. We thank Mr. Anthony for all that he's done for out franchise and we expect him to have a great future in Chicago.
Chiacgo Accepts, we are reluctant to part ways with Rose, but we are going into win now mode, and a young kid no matter his talent level didnt have the maturity to lead this team in the Stacked East.

A veto was filed for this trade. I tend to agree this is loopsided in favor of Bulls. Billups/1st for Rose is more or less of the same value depending on which you value more, potential or win now. Melo for Deng, Gibson and Asik somehow is not a fair value.
Trade not approved.

It would be my opinion that, for as long as this trade has been posted, only receiving one veto couldn't possibly disqualify this trade.
Lopsided or no, sometimes teams want to go different directions. Sometimes GMs value things differently, etc.
I'm not saying I support this trade one way or another, I'm just speaking more torwards setting precedents.
