The Haminators v5.0 select Dorell Wright.

Oh no, Dorell was on *my* list. Guess there was no way he was making it to pick 24.

Yeah, I had Sanders and Wright among my picks and was thinking of trying to trade for an early 2nd rounder to get both. Funny thing, when you traded Jax for a pick ahead of me, I had a feeling you would take one of the guys I was targeting.

Confirmed.

Give me a couple hours to make the pick. I think I know who I want but need to do a little checking.

I am surprised he fell so far in this draft and the real draft. He is probably the player I would have taken with the #9 pick had I kept it so all is good.

I know he hasn't signed yet with the Memphis; I may have to Rubio him.

Not only does the pick fill a need but we believe he was the best player on the board. There were a couple other candidates but Henry's athleticism and shooting should help him fit right in.

Yeah, I had to pass on Henry because I've never seen him play. So I wouldn't be surprised at all if he deserved to go higher.

He refused to come work out for my team.

That is because he received a promise.

Anyone interested in Diaw? I'd like to move him and Webster, Chandler, or Lowry in a 2 for 1.

I'm happy to welcome my two new additions:

Demarcus Cousins - Displayed a mature and varied game in summer league that surprised me. I was leaning towards Favors' potential but Cousins showed polish and a gamer's mentality. I'm looking forward to him shoring up my big man rotation with Noah's departure.

Eric Bledsoe - This is a stash pick since I don't see him playing much this year behind Bdiddy and Foye. Bledsoe and Beaubois will get to learn from Deron Williams and should provide some good battles in practice.

PG - Deron Williams (Uta - PG)
SG - Kevin Martin (Hou - SG)
G - Derrick Rose (Chi - PG)
G - Devin Harris (NJ - PG)
SF - LeBron James (Mia - SF)
PF - Zach Randolph (Mem - PF)
F - Tyrus Thomas (Cha - SF,PF)
F - Boris Diaw (Cha - SF,PF)
C - Al Horford (Atl - PF,C)
C - Dwight Howard (Orl - C)
BN - Kyle Lowry (Hou - PG,SG)
BN - Martell Webster (Min - SG,SF)
BN - Eric Bledsoe (LAC - PG)
BN - Rodrigue Beaubois (Dal - PG, SG)
BN - DeMarcus Cousins (Sac - PF, C)

2011 - 1st, 2nd
2012 - 1st, 2nd (right to swap 1st round pick with AlciG)

I really wanted Cousins too. Coming out of the lottery I was hoping for Wall, Cousins and X. Henry. I got two of the three and Yao will be a nice consolation to Cousins. I will have to watch was Favors does; I will constantly be reevaluating taking Yao over him.

Hey Sly, had I offered you #5 and #9 for the #3 pick (too late now I know) would you have taken it?

I'm sad to see Noah and Beasley go. I picked Noah off waivers two years ago and he's blossomed. He's in a contract year so he should be very motivated although he may take a slight stats hit from Boozer.

Beasley I think can still be a 18-9 player easily. Miami was a bad situation for him and he should find himself in a better one in Minny.

I'm glad to add KevMart to balance out D12's terrible FT%. ZBo is sortof an older version of Beasley. I'm sick of landing in the lotto!
