ImageNews from DC: "Washington Wizards are looking for Assistant General Managers"

For those interested, the Wizards GM, GallosOurFuture, is looking for assistant GM's for those who could not obtain a team in the Build a team 4.0. This is a good opportunity for those who want to either learn BAT, for the next BAT or for those veterans of BAT, who missed out. For those interested, they are asked to contact GallosOurFuture at GallosOurFuture@aim.com or on AIM at, GallosOurFuture. If you would like, you can also quote this post stating that you are interested, and leave your contact info and GallosOurFuture will contact you with a quick tiny survey about your knowloedge of basketball and about Build a team.

Thanks in advance,
GallosOurFuture
Washington Wizards General Manager

Repost, for those interested. 1 Assistant has been chosen, looking for 1, maybe 2 more. The new Assistant GM will be announced tomorrow.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean, but if you are offering me your first round pick for mine, I accept!

Ok, since I still have no idea where you are going with this, deal! The Spurs and Bobcats agree to trade first round picks. The Spurs move up two spots to pick #20 while the Bobcats receive the Spurs pick #22.

**ANNOUNCEMENT**
Mavs hire "Thorn" as Assistant GM

It looks as if Mark Cuban at least made ONE smart decision last night. After hearing his Dallas Mavericks would be selecting dead-last in the BAT competition, Cuban bashed the head offices of the league then drank himself into oblivion. But before he blackedout, he signed off on a deal that would land the Mavs a new Assistant GM.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced the hiring of "Thorn" as their new Assistant GM. "Thorn" is a great asset to our organization and will prove vital in the building of our new franchise. He has an excellent understanding of the game and a similar interest in personnel to the President of Basketball Operations...swisscheeseD.

Pictures of Cuban's night on the town below...

Guyver: Sits in a chair across from Thorn, who is in a red shirt and casual dress.

Guyver: Thank you very much. Everybody is on pins and needles across the country, particularly those teams who are in the running for Thorn as an Assistant GM.

Thorn: Man, this whole experience has been quite the process.

Guyver: What have you thought about this process?

Thorn: This process has been everything I've thought and more. And that's what I did a few years ago; I put myself in a position to have this process where I can hear teams' pitches and figure out what was the best possible chance for me to ultimately win and to ultimately be happy.

Guyver: What did you expect?

Thorn: I expected to be able to go through this process, to process things. To come up with a DECISION tm

Guyver: What did you think about the process?

Thorn: The process was something that was tough. I tried to go through a process, where I processed all of the information that these other teams processed, and put before me. Then over a processed grilled cheese sandwich I made my... DECISION. tm

Guyver: The answer to the question everybody wants to know: Thorn, what's your DECISION tm?

Thorn: I'm taking my talent to the lone star state.

No but seriously, thanks for all the teams that were interested, Swiss hit me up first and I think we are going to make a good team. He is willing to show me the ropes, and I am going to try and bring as much basketball knowledge as I can to the situation. I am looking forward to the challenge of selecting last. I actually like where we are positioned in the draft, and have a good feel for what we want to do already, and feel we have a inning strategy. There are a lot of advantages to picking where we are first and foremost seeing what everyone else is trying to do and then preparing your counter punch.

Thanks all.

The gif was a short clip of Terry Tate the Linebacker(Reebok Promo). He decleated the mail pusher in the corporate office I would assume because he was a known slacker. If you would have watched the clip with audio on as he decleats him over the mail cart he says to him...."You Got Mail". This is what I was saying to you as in Check Your Mail.

BTW I got your message.....

As of now we haven't agreed to anything. If you want to counter offer and make me one to move up 2 spots go ahead as I was making an offer to you to move down 15 spots. Maybe well agree to do something. I'll email you later to continue dialogue.

Would top half of second round be too far down?

SwisscheeseD, what would it take to switch places with you in the draft?

I have the 25th pick in every odd numbered round, 6th pick in every even numbered round. You have the 30th pick in every odd numbered round, 1st pick in every even numbered round.
