They lost out on free agency like us and are going for Iggy.
Do you think we will or should we go after Iggy? He's expensive but were not landing Paul anyway. The guy named just about every team but us as a destination.
I don't think another young allstar 20 point a game great D guy who fits in the running game like a glove will come along.
I think it would be a good idea to trade Courtney Lee for Iggy as room for Turner for Sixers and for us to get another star.
After that we take Terrance Williams and we get the best young backup pf we can. Landry or something.
C.Lopez
PF.Favors
SF.Outlaw
SG.Iggy
PG.Harris
We would have a big 3 nezt year to make the playoffs and the following year we would have a big 4 as Favors will be a breakout stud and probably the following year James starts over Outlaw.
This would be a perfect running team.
I wish they really wanna get rid of Iggy so bad they would package Young with him

NOOOO Iggy may be a good player and all but he in my eyes is not worth his contract , you just don't pay 15 Million a year to a third option at best ok 2nd option . Especially when your missing a real 1st option like we still most likely do.

You don't see Brook as a legit first option? I see him as a franchise C who will be a hall of famer. He went from 13 to 18 and next year I see him getting 20-22 and 10 rebounds with 2 blocks.
You really don't think Brook is a first option?
I look at him as the 2nd best 5 in the league behind only Howard.

Brook may be that in 1-2 years but not now. We're not ready to add compliment players to our roster that are THAT expensive . We should spend our money wiser then on Iggy . I'd rather try to add somebody whose contract may be a bit bigger but is a actual big-time player if i have to spend our Caproom.

Iggy is somewhat of a high risk high reward, if all we would have to send was Clee I'd do it in a second.
All Clee is gonna do here really is take Twill's minutes and brick shots.
His D will be replaced with Iggy's D.

Re: Clippers going after Iggy
Just because the Clips asked about Iggy doesnt mean he is on the block just yet. I expect he will be...once Turner gets going and it becomesw clear no one but no one will take Brand. I see Iggy as this season's KEvin Martin...displaced due to a rook.
Having said all of that...you ask...but I think we are in a holding pattern to see how this Paul situation plays out. We are in a better situation than most of that so called list of teams to make a legit offer....plus we can actually take Okafor for cap relief.
Want to be a good team..you have patience to land a superstar. Either trade for him...or dradft him. In the end...what does Iggy do for us that is so much more than he has done for tPhilly the last few years?
As VC said...mediocre. And as I always say...its the worst place to be.
