He turned down 5yrs 25 mil with 8 mil signing bonus from the Bears.

He will either sign with the Vikings or Oakland.

He is in Minny right now.

**** him. Let another team overpay for him. He isn't even that good.
This team is going to suck next year when we don't have Berrian and Briggs and maybe Harris.

^ I agree, we probably have the inside track on Turner and we wont sign him either.

This is turning into the raiders of a few yrs ago...

Seems like every Bear FA, Management or current player just wants to take a sh^+ on the fans.

not really the fans, more like the organization.

The Bears (McCaskey Family) has always ran their ship with dictatorship. They never did what was good for the fans or the league, they did what they wanted.

I guess the fact that Halas basically created the NFL, and the McCaskey's are the bloodline, they act pretty stuck up.

I'm still waiting for my Chicao Bearette Cheerleaders.

We all know this management isn't going to do anything major because they are as cheap as the Bulls yet they have the money. And now Hester is going to want big bucks in a a few years (next year) as well so I see him walking as well. And Urlacher is gone in a few years too. This team is in shambles.

I like it, whip up a logo we can all rock. Perhaps a bear with a pink tutu.

There was actually a group of cheerleaders a few years ago called the Honey Bears.

That was before the Virginia McCaskey era.

The McCaskey's have made it very public that they are not interested in cheerleaders.

G. Halas on the other knew it was just part of the dynamic of the NFL.

I totally agree that the Bears are um, thrifty, and that this offseason will be a disaster, but how can anyone be POd over this? They offered that guy way more than I would've. He's not worth the offer he turned down. To hell with Berrian.

I'm so pissed right now. I hope Mike Brown ends his season the next time we play the Vikes. He was one of my favorite players on this team.

F**k you Berrian.

This offseason is looking to spell disaster for us...JA isn't doing sh*t right now and he's sitting on his lazy ass. F**k this.

Even though I'm not a Bears fan, I say this move isn't that important. I'd be more concerned with not going after Marcus Stroud when you guys clearly could use him on the D-Line.

I'm PO'd, not because Berrian is extremely valuable, but now a hole in the Bears just became gapping, and one that could have been avoided.

We have many holes on our offense. We need receivers and linemen quick!

*Donte Stallworth also agreed to terms with the Browns. He was someone I thought we could possibly look at.

Whew. The Bears dodged a bullet with the Berrian signing. 6 years for $42M???? Forget that. vikings can have him.

LOL, Vikes just overpaid for a Receiver that is only good when he has a step on his defender. He's not the type that can go over the middle either. Good Luck with all that Suckers up in 'Sota! I betcha Berrian gets hurt playing on that terrible turf.

Anyhow, the BEARS should pursue Javon Walker! We need a playmaking WR, plus dude can catch the ball if left wide open! Or hope to get a stud in the draft...

WAY too much money for Berrian even with the hole we have at WR. He didn't fight for balls and - as we all know - was prone to drops. Bring in Hackett and draft a WR within the first 3 rounds. Would feel a lot better, though, if Bradley could return to pre-injury form. He looked like a guy who could really do something after the catch.
Turn down for what?

I'd rather go with b. johnson and let hester start at the other wr.

7m for berrian, see ya. Vikes qb is so inaccurate he'll never catch the ball anyway.
