Alright let's get this thing going.

Haven't heard how you guys feel about the Heat. I thought it was cheap. It's their privilege as players to do what they like, but its the easy way out. The talk about "doing something special" is bogus. I echo what the HOFers have said. I want the best to beat the best, not he best to join the best and beat up on the little guys. I think it left a bad taste in NBA fans' mouths but saying all that I'm still interested to see how they do and I'll be cheering against.

I'd like to hear the Celtics fan about the Heat. Although the celtics didn't assemble quite the same way the Heat did, they backed up the talk and won the championship. Through all this I've turned into a Kobe fan, and I respect KG a little more for staying so long.

Been away for awhile, been busy with life. But I'm back now, even though the Cubs suck.

I'm a Celtics fan. I don't think the situations are too comparable. The Celtics got their players through trades, not outright signings. They had to give up some good assets (#5 pick, Al Jefferson, etc) to put them together. The Heat just cleared cap room.

But when the Celtics first formed, everyone said it would take time to gel. It didn't. I have the same feeling about the Heat. Frankly, I think they'll dominate right away.

I feel the same way about Kobe and Garnett as I have a lot more respect for them as players. Even if I still think KG is a prick at times.

And I have BJ winning. I think he'll be on a mission. He didn't seem motivated in the first fight and there many rumors that he was injured or sick then. Imo it doesn't go the full 5 rounds this time. I also want to see Couture beat the turd out of Toney, which shouldn't be a problem.
