koyie has played once since the break, they are catchers and they need days off, especially in the middle of summer.

Take a look at the gamelogs for May and June. It was a straight up platoon.

I'm not quite sure of the origins either. I think it's just internet slang when the Cubs played so bad they weren't worthy of being called the Cubs.

Aaron Miles has more hits today than he did all of last year.

Ryan Theriot RE-HEHEHE-ALLY needs to stop fancy himself a basestealer..........cause he isn't. He either gets really lucky on stealing or he gets thrown out. He needs to stop trying to steal. All in all, the day Theriot is no longer a Cub, will be the greatest day since Nefti Perez was dealt.

Tyler Colvin's future is not at the leadoff spot, he is likely going to bat 5-6 in the future. The fact that he has 25 hr potential this season is amazing.

Castro has found his home at the #2, Brett Jackson is likely the future at lead-off and now we just need to develop some 3-4 hitters (which could be Castro, Jackson...Maybe Colvin, but I just dont see him hitting for the average).

Yeah these young guns are getting me excited about the future of the Cubs. Over time I think Colvin will improve his contact a little and his average will be fine.

Go for the sweep tonight boys!

Our bullpen is so bad that we have to use Brian Schlitter in this key spot.

Did the Cardinals and Cubs switch teams this weekend? 14 hits, 3 runs for the Cardinals through 10.

Return to Chicago Cubs
