Leaves college basketball as a 2 time Big East and DPOY and National DPOY despite everyone calling him a raw prospect that doesn't know how to play basketball. Thabeet's NBA career will follow the same path, people quickly dismissing him as he continues to improve by leaps and bounds year by year. His rookie year was everyone saying, "He's just tall and fouls every time on the floor." This year when people are seeing the flashes of complete and utter dominance on the defensive side people will be saying, "well he can't score at all." And of course, Thabeet will prove them wrong all over again when he is busting out his hookshots, jumpshots and breathtaking free throw shooting stroke. But the haters will be adamant with their hate and discredit him at every turn because they want to be known as the geniuses that knew he was gonna bust out of the league, after this year they will he's not as good as Theo Ratliff, then they'll say he's not as good defensively as Dikembe Mutombo and then between the 3rd or 4th DPOY award the haters will say well Hakeem Olajuawon has more blocks. And they will be right but only for a while because when Thabeet retires, he will be known as the most prolific shot blocker in NBA history, his legend will simply be known as "The Presence." And for the uneducated that want to criticize his post game, please just sit there and enjoy this video. Now I don't want to overrate the guy but there is only one guy in the history of the league that can do that post move at 1:00 and that man also hailed from Africa.
