Mitchell to Buffalo, Torbor to Miami, Ward fielding offers

Post#1 » by Al n' Perk No Layups! » Sat Mar 1, 2008 3:54 am

Reggie Torbor has signed with the Dolphins. No surprise there, he is a better fit for the 3-4 defense anyway, and Tuna loves big LBs.

Kawika Mitchell has left the Giants for the Buffalo Bills. He will sign a multi year deal today. No word on the terms and conditions.

Derrick Ward has a 2 year deal on the table from the Giants, but is fielding offers from several other teams, including Seattle and Arizona. I have a feeling he is gone.

I had to laugh when I saw that we lost almost all our FAs in one day.

I'd definitely like to keep Ward, especially over RD.

Let Mitchell and Torbor go, try to keep Ward. He's not worth starter money though and has a history of durability issues of not making it through an entire season.
