Suns Waive Griffin

Post#1 » by KopLegend » Mon Jul 26, 2010 5:12 pm

The Phoenix Suns waived forward Taylor Griffin, the team announced this morning. Griffin appeared in just eight games for the Suns as a rookie in 2009-10, averaging 1.3 points in 4.0 minutes.

About time

Thanks for being a good, hardworking practice player.

I was about to post that when I saw it on facebook.

I've always wondered. Does he really suck or are we just too deep to play him?

He sucks.

Worst player in our starting lineup in the summer league.

I was shocked when you guys drafted him and that he actually made the roster last year. Good luck to him.

Yeah he was never expected to really be an NBA player.

TGriff, we'll miss you and those dinosaur arms!

Well, respect that he even made it to the league. Few people can say they played in the NBA even for 8 games, Taylor just doesn't have the tools to stay here and that's nothing to be ashamed of. He's my age and my best basketball memories are pretty far from being on NBA roster. Good luck to him.

In this system, almost half of our guys could play the 5

But in all seriousness I'd actually hope for a legit starting PF first and foremost.

Alright, a C/PF combo. Don't dismiss Warrick just yet, give him a few games to see if he might actually cut it.

Not signing Lawal would be too epic of a failure for even Sarver...would be even worse than the Griz picking Henry in the lottery and now trying to short-change him.

Thank god. The only player worse than Griff on the team is Clark, but at least he's the last man in the rotation now.

So does this put us a player under the minimum?
