As a Net fan, my opinion the best thing that we need to hope for is that Lopez and Favors become huge studs and that as a franchise we can get to 30 wins this season I don't think we making the playoffs.

To speed up the process of winning we must secure two stars to team up with Lopez, Favors & yes James. The Dexmor cat has good intentions but hopefully he will learn how to look at building a team.

I hope we dont ruin the cap space with impulsive moves but trust the decisions was previously made like drafting Favors. In order to compete in the east you need a strong front court a finese type and bangor defensive type I think at this point we have it now we need time to for it develop. The best idea he had was the Landry pick up. I can see Landry can be a valuable pick up as a big.

Although, LBJ, Wade & Bosh has hooked they may have hard time getting past the Celtics because of the frontline and I read they still may get Sheed to play another season. My point you need Bigs strong ones at that.

I feel like I'm in some bizarre alternate universe...

For the first couple of weeks...I thought...OK...just an enthusiastic poster who doesnt really understand much about the game, the league, the cap, its players...well.....pretty much anything.

And I figured...OK....he isnt trolling...just excited and not making any sense...give him some time to get his feet wet and he will start to learn some things from reading the threads.

And now? I just feel like we are being held hostage with constant inane posts and childish threads.

Honestly...back in the day...I would have handled this differently...but now...its time for others to deal with it.

But, I am tired of it....getting REALLY tired of it. Something has to give here....

As far as, the original idea and proposed lineup that would win a championship is concerned, I don't what to say. You ever just start laughing when you see or hear something so ridiculous that you can't believe someone actually said it? That's what happened when I read the lineup who would take down the Heat/Magic/Celtics/Bulls and whatever the West has to offer.

E, the board has always depended on you to lay the smackdown on all foolish talk that comes here. I haven't been a member for long but I've seen this for awhile when I was just watching the board for a few years. Everyone has been spoiled because we've all looked at ridiculous posts sometimes and say why even bother to respond but you come in and clean up the mess. We're all tired of it but I think we just banked on the fact that you would eventually address the issue that we didn't feel like addressing. I don't know if the rest of us will be able to do what you have done, but we will try.

I appreciate that....but I have to say...you should have seen it back in the day. Talk about some great back and forth that would have made you laugh your ass off.

I am sure the old timers can give you a laundry list of the crazy things I have said on the board to people when they wrote something that to me looked like they lost their minds.

My absolute best....or worst, depending on your vantage point was for Nixies or those ripping into one of our regulars. I laugh when the guys remind me of some rant I made in years past. I have also confronted many of our own over the years....and fortunately I think many have decided it is a right of passage. Which I am glad...because all I ever wanted was to raise the bar. A small group that brings value to the table. And being a small group that knows something is better than being a large bunch of morons.

For the most part...I am in awe at how much smarter hoops wise a lot of guys have gotten over the years. As the old man around here...very proud.

Anyone that has been posting over the last year while I stepped away that didnt know me, just know this. Its never personal and I dont stay angry. All I ask is that if you have a strong opinion...back it up. Being right or wrong isnt the issue. If your points are failing to hit the mark...all you really need to do is read the replies. It becomes obvious after a while that you are either making people think...or you are making a fool out of yourself.
