HA...you know where you guys lost that series? Game 3. You stopped Kobe, but you couldn't stop a 36 year old point guard.

That Luke Ridnour pickup now looking very good for Ham.

3-4 months puts Flynn returning at opening night or at the latest December. Hopefully he returns sooner rather than later. Not too concerned.

Ridnour would have been solid even without the Flynn injury. I seriously considered taking Luke with the 19th pick.

And yes...you've noticed. The thing is, I REALLY didn't want to drop Sessions in the first place. I knew he'd be traded. Now, I would have preferred a trade to Memphis or Charlotte, but he'll still get much more burn OUT of the Minnesota and Out of the Triangle.

I object to the "new interpretation" of the post-draft add/drops rule, which clearly gives a competitive advantage to people like the commissioner who have the ample free time available to develop and peruse a list of all available players.

I also wonder whether the waiver rules apply during the summer or if we're going to make a mockery of the league by having it be one big free-for-all like we're in kindergarten. If we are still using waivers, I would like to point out that WB violated league rules when he picked up Lance Stephenson and I, for one, think he should hold himself to the highest standard as any real commissioner would and be penalized in some way.

:starwars <--- That's me with the green lightsaber, truly a fitting metaphor for the situation we find ourselves in.

Carl, leave it alone. We've always, ALWAYS, allowed free waiver wire add/drops after the draft, but before the yahoo league is set up. Get over it.

There seems to be plenty of question over whether that's the case so I don't know if "always, ALWAYS" is the right way to put it.

I hope not.

I think someone may have sold me faulty merchandise.

That said, Big Z was constantly hurt earlier in his career but became a solid 82 game per season player later (not late) in his career.

On a similar note, it has been two month, can I now put Kendrick Perkins on the IL?

Hmmm..David Andersen to Toronto...it's possible that with that trade, TWO of my draft picks could lose value. Would love perspectives of any Toronto fans here...

I doubt he'll see much, if any, playing time. I suspect he was more acquired as trade fodder, since the Raptors virtually gave up nothing to get him.

Ok, that's a relief...though, the way it's going now, I may have to eventually pick him up just to make sure I've got that position covered.

You may have a point. Why stop with Andersen? I need to pick up ALL the scrubs in Toronto...Weems and Belly Nelly and then on to marcus banks. Then I'll go grab Will Solomon...yeah, I know he's not on the team anymore, but he was a major scrub so might as well.

During the draft we had some trade discussions, why?
