The SF we really need.

Forget Granger.

Forget Iguodala.

Our splash should be to trade for Carmelo Anthony. He'd fit in perfect on this team.

Trevor Ariza, Shane Battier, Jordan Hill, NYK 1st for Carmelo Anthony. Is that a package Denver would like?

Yao / Miller
Scola / Hayes
Carmelo / Budinger
Martin / Taylor
Brooks / Lowry

That would work under the salary cap. Why does Denver do it? Not totally sure, to risk not losing Melo for nothing.. acquire a young talented big man, trade assets in Battier's contact and Knicks pick, and someone (Ariza) to replace Melo. (I'm not comparing Ariza to Melo, they are not on the same level, but Ariza is a capable starting SF).

Granger and Iguodala just don't seem to have that killer mentality.. the take over the game and close it out like a champ mentality. Maybe I haven't seen them play enough. Melo has that though. And I think we could put a squad around him that would make him not even consider going to NY, if that's the case. I'm not believing that though.. the same was said about LeBron going to NY.

I can dream, right?

Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I like it, but I'd rather have Durant.

Problem is, Morey and Presti are too smart to deal with Presti and Morey, respectively. ;)

Oh I would definitely take Durant in a heartbeat.

He is definitely untouchable though, while Anthony is a little less untouchable.

Sorry, I've quickly developed a man crush on Durant. Favorite player in the league, easily. Just wish he wore Rockets red and white. :sigh:
