Would you take him on the team. I heard he did good in the 2 workouts. Anything is better than Shaq

The obvious need on our team is size and it's been ignored this off-season. Shaq fills that need and that's not the case with Tracy McGrady. From a business perspective both of them are valuable but I give the edge to Shaq.

I think T-Mac must be insisting on a starting role or he probably would already be inked by someone. Given his health concerns I can see why few teams would risk a major role for T-Mac in their plans.

and why can't he start for us ? ? ? ?

we can sign him to a unguaranteed contract and let him battle Marvin for the spot.
that might motivate both players.

and if he gets hurt we still have Marvin.

I can't wait till guys like T-Mac, Redd, Arenas, VC, and a few others retire. They are cancer and will kill any team eventually.

None of the guys you mentioned are cancers.

If we are signing him to help sell tickets, then YES, if we are signing him thinking he can help us win a few more games, then NO. If chicago(with Roses backing) didn't see anything there, what do the hawks see?

Tracy IS a cancer, 2nd round cancer. Arenas and retiring... not sure if serious.

There's no way he would sign and non guaranteed contract.

I would consider a cancer to be someone like Milton Bradley,Terrell Owens,or Stephon Marbury. The 4 guys he named just seem to be guys who were overpaid, underachieved,or got injured.
