Most likely people don't want to take longer contracts.

Maybe a 3 way trade:
CHA gets: TJ Ford (expiring)
out: Boris Diaw

IND gets: Jose Calderon, 6.7m TPE
out: Dahntay Jones, Jeff Forster, TJ Ford

TOR gets: Boris Diaw, Jeff Forster, Dahntay Jones
out: Jose Calderon, 6.7m TPE

Calderon to Indy is a no. Indy's comfortably out of the luxury tax this year. I'm not saying that a TPE isn't useful, but limiting ourselves next year is a huge hindrance. We're going to need as much cap space as we can get, as we'll have to renounce all TPE's at that point anyway.
