Post#1 » by Pax for Prez » Sun Mar 2, 2008 7:34 am

I know he visited Atlanta and I heard Carolina and Detroit had interest.

Michael Turner is scheduled to visit Davie in the next few days and is very likely to sign a contract during that time period. He supposedly wants to play with Ronnie Brown, and is not concerned with being the #1 guy for carries. Especially Ronnie coming off an injury, it seems the Dolphins will share the caries i.e. Jacksonville.

Atlanta I hope. He spent a great deal of time with the Falcons and even attended a Georgia Force game which Mr. Blank owns as well.

Yes, this would help Matt Ryan a TON..not having to rely on his-self to carry the offense.

But, he also NEEDS receivers.

All FA RBs are probaly recieving less attention due to a very deep RB draft

I'd love that and all, but how much is he going to get paid?

I find it difficult to see Turner signing with Miami.

Everything I heard, said he wants to sign with a team to be the #1 RB, not to split carries.

KEEP AN EYE ON ATLANTA

We've picking up uncorroborated rumors that running back Michael Turner has agreed to terms with the Falcons.

Again, these rumors are uncorroborated.

We assume that someone in the "real" media will seize the baton and run with it.

Turner gained 316 yards on 71 carries with one touchdown last season.

Flacco, Brohm, Henne all could be available in the second, or if Hall is traded and we get a first in return we would take one there. Yes qb is a need, but without an O-line he is going to get sacked a ton. or be rushed and through bad picks. Ryan had 19 int's last year. With our horrible wr core and no line, that number could be sky high.

I don't think Matt Ryan is any less a risk than a few other QBs.
