The Cavs game was really good. I thought the best game of the year was the Jazz-OKC OT game. That was an amazing duel between Durant and Deron.

Jazz @ Bulls was pretty amazing. You had Deron and Rose both go for double digit points and assists. Although the Jazz ran away with it IIRC so it may not make the cut for drama purposes...

The comeback in Portland was pretty amazing, too.

With the exception of the 4th quarter that Jazz Cavs game was terrible. But that 4th quarter was some amazing basketball.

Gonna miss the Boozer "AND 1!" Oh, and the occasional monster 20/20. That may have been his best game as a Jazz man.

We are gonna miss Matthews and Korver...

Agreed... Cavs game was terrible until the 4th. And it was my favorite by a long shot

Remember that boneheaded three by AK in that game? Wish we had Gaines for that one.

The Portland game was my favorite.

Fesenko looked like he is worth keeping the way he played in the Blazer game.

Meh, with out trading Maynor there is no way we acquire Big Al this off season so I am actually pretty stoked on that trade.

I would be surprised if Maynor turned out that great. Better than Price at PG? Yes, but I'm not sure it's by all that much. Didn't we get the draft pick that we used to get Al from the Brewer trade though?

Yes, but with out clearing Harpring's salary this year to get under the salary cap I would be very surprised if the Millers would have been so willing to bring in Jefferson. The Jazz would have had to pay an extra 10 mil in salaries + penalties last year if we hadn't moved Harpring, which is 3 million short of Al's entire salary next year.

The salary cap moves we made this past season made this off season possible.

The OKC game was one of the best I have ever seen.

As good as Maynor was, you have to be stupid to not trade him in order to save $10M. Remember, he was key in dumping Harpring's salary.

Boozer? Well we got a center in his place in Al Jefferson, even exchange, and I think a great post player helps us more than a finesse player, though Boozer did do a little of both.

Brewer, yeah was a bummer, but we had every chance to resign him this year, I don't know where we screwed up, unless Brewer was pissed at the the trade. The pick did help us land Al Jefferson, and the cap room we save it could of helped to get Bell.

Mathews was a major bummer, and in the end I don't really know if we should of matched the Mathews deal, but if Miles continues to grow his game, Hayward plays to his potential, and Bell continues to play at a high level, we could soon forget Mathews. Had Mathews been offered an average of $5M a year, I think we would of matched, but near $7 was too much.
