NFL Draft Countdown's latest 3 rd Mock

Post#1 » by CJ_18 » Sun Mar 2, 2008 11:38 pm

This is the mock I mostly follow. I love the scouting reports (even though not all of them are filled in).

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html

I love both my team's picks..

Malcolm Kelly to the 'Skins @ 21 would be great for Jason Campell, even though you can argue DE is their biggest need.

And I also LOVE the Chargers getting S Kenny Phillips out of Miami @ 27. We could definetly use a S after Marlon McCree left and if we could get Phillips we would have 2 great young Safeties in Phillips and Eric Weddle.

If DR Cromartie is still available at 27 though, it would be hard to resist teaming up 2 Cromarties at Corner in SD. EVERY Offense will fear playing SD when their 2 top cover guys are 6'3 and both have 4.3 speed. Also, losing Drayton Florence will make CB more of a need for us so having to make a decision between Phillips at DRC (if both available) will be VERY difficult.

Another mock who has Atlanta taking Ryan, another mock that I don't like. I'm not fan of the guys who do this mock because all they talk about is Ryan's good qualities, not his bad ones.

You may not like Ryan but your new head coach sure does!

I am a Seahawks fan who would be ecstatic about landing Jonathan Stewart and Dustin Keller in the first two rounds. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
