The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets have agreed to the following:

Denver will send:

Nene - 11,360,000
Leandro Barbosa - 7,100,000
Total: 18,460,000

Houston will send:

Yao Ming - 17,686,100
2011 Memphis 2nd

Deal Works!

Low risk- high reward deal for us. We absolutely love Nene, but there's chance that he can bolt this summer.

Rockets agree. Yao is a big question mark as to if he can come back so I take the sure talent in Nene even though he has a chance to bolt as well. He also fits better in my uptempo system. I don't have much room for Barbosa and he will likely be moved in the future

FYI to figure out salary, it should be [ salary x 1.25 + 100,000 ]

but it still works since it equals $4,412,500, so

for some reason Detroit does not have 2014 1st listed on his roster page (only listed a 2nd),

so trade not approved till someone figures out weather they have the pick or their roster is just posted incorrect. Not sure why it is not listed unless Detroit does not own it in real life because it has not been traded in game

I don't know why I didn't put it on my roster. Looking over my trades, I'm pretty positive that I have not traded the pick, and just omitted it for some reason.

This deal works!

A solid rebounder, great scorer and steadily becoming a solid defender, Jefferson fits what we need most and that's inside scoring. We accept.

Accepted. Jefferson has high injury concerns and even though Deng has them also, Deng fits a position we have a bigger need in. Haslem can take care of some of the production that Jefferson brought.

OKC agrees to this deal, we really like Jordan but now have a log jam at the C position (in we can sign Cole), the pick has potential to be a very high pick plus we need to open up a roster spot!

plus I needed to make a trade

Charlotte has never accepted this trade and has accepted trades posted after this. He has not responded to my 2 emails telling him this so I guess this trade is a no go unless he posts that he accepts.

San Antonio and Dallas have a trade.

Spurs out / Mavs in:
Richard Jefferson $8,400,000
Joel Pryzbilla $7,450,300
Total – $15,850,300

Mavs out/ Spurs in:
Jason Terry $9,873,000
Juan Jose Barea $1,815,000
Alexis Ajinca $1,467,840
2011 Dallas 2nd
Total - $13,155,840
*1.25 + 100K = $16,544,800 – works

Spurs accept. Needed to move Jefferson’s contract; didn’t get the fully expiring contracts I hoped for, but still save quite a bit next year, and Barea is of some value.

Dallas accepts. We had pretty major holes at backup SF and C and this trade addresses both while simultaneously clearing the massive logjam at PG. We are now able to roll like 10 deep which is pretty sick and means that all players will be fresh and ready to crush in the post season.

The New Orleans Hornets have agreed a trade with the Golden State Warriors.

The trade is in 2 parts.

1. New Orleans sends:

Wilson Chandler - $2,130,482
Mario Chalmers - $854,389

for

Brandan Wright - $3,398,072

then

2. New Orleans sends:

remainder of Mo Peterson TPE (initially $6,665,000, but reducted to ~$5.4m following the Casspi trade)

for

Mike Miller - $4,300,000

The deal works.

Why for NOH? Simply put, in order for this team to complete in the playoffs, we needed to reorganise the bench of more experienced players, capable of playing D. Mike Miller adds just that - great floor spacing and shooting, solid D, and the perfect compliment to Andre Miller in my bench backcourt. I'm also taking a gamble on Brandan Wright, hoping his huge upside can be reached through the excellent cast of players he will be surrounded by.

Plus, my bench is now Andre Miller, Mike Miller, Andres Nocioni, Antonio McDyess & Joel Anthony, a very tough, defensive lineup who are still capable of scoring good points.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

The Golden State Warriors accept this deal. This kind of move is part of my ongoing effort to shoot my efforts to win now right in the foot. But I really like Chandler and Chalmers as players. Both are solid, talented, productive and cheap. Part of me hates to give up on Wright but I don't really know what to expect from him so I decided to cut my losses and focus on developing Udoh as my big man of the future. With him and Bosh in town I don't see any role for Wright. He needed to go somewhere to try and rebuilding his once promising career.

P.S: I now have a starting 5 in which the shortest guy is the 6'4 or 6'5 Rodney Stuckey but still maintaining the speed and athleticism to get up and down the floor. I really love that.
