I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the Celtics made the Finals again. They started 23-5 last season before injuries started affecting them. Yeah, they are old, but as a team they are tough as nails and know how to win. If Doc can manage their minutes properly in the RS and they stay healthy, they are the team to beat in the East, without question.
The addition of JO is probably also a bit underrated. He's still effective and will be a very good replacement for Perkins until he returns. Once Perkins gets back they will have a really good big man rotation of KG/JO/Perkins/BBD.
Then they have Rondo, Pierce, and Allen, all of which command respect and play well together, so all-in-all I think they probably have one of the most balanced teams in the league.
RE: Bulls
I agree that they are a dark horse team. There is no question in my mind that they will be a top 4 seed, but their overall lack of experience is going to hurt them as they get deeper in the playoffs. They'll make some noise, but I don't think they'll reach the Finals.
