Thanks for the video. I was one of the few people that hoped Vinny would get the job over Casey so I really hope my gut instincts were right. haha
The way he talks and his mannerism reminds me so much of Dunleavy. I hope that's all they have in common.
I like how he's a no nonsense guy and will sit Baron down when he takes bad shots or yell at Kaman if he has a brain fart.
I really think Vinny will change the culture and believe we will have a winning season. Hopefully enough wins to make the playoffs.

I was Casey supporter and I was pretty pissed when I heard the news. I had a couple days of pouting. What's done is done, so I'm not going to dwell on that. I'm waiting to see how this all plays out. I think that VDN does have some positives to offer the team, and I'm hopeful that his staff will supplement anything that he lacks. If he can convince the players to play the right way
and win, that's what matters most. I just want to see progress. No excuses. No underachievement. Overachieving would be great, but I'd be happy with just achieving lol.
3 seasons.

Vinny sounds pretty similar to Dunleavy
Also judging by his response to the Baron questions I see some friction between the two. He doesn't seem particularly happy to be coaching him. He should be good for the young guys though.

I said it before he is Dunleavy 2.0.
I didn't think Baron would show him respect, and I haven't changed my mind.

^ If he's laid back and has a lack of a playbook, that would make him the Anti-Dunleavy. lol.
If his forte is player development like they say, the young guys should flourish. That's another Anti-Dunleavy trait. I'd much rather have Casey, but I'm just crossing my fingers VDN can work wonders. It can't get any worse, can it???
