PDcavsinsider Word is LeBron indeed advised Paul to demand a trade but he wants CP3 to stay in Western Conf. to make a better rivalry.

PDcavsinsiderOf course CP3 in Orlando running screen rolls with Dwight Howard would be direct challenge to Heat. So that may be a factor, no?

Yeah, what a manipulating shrew this guy is. He wants to build a super team but doesn't want anybody else in the conference to do the same. And shame on Chris Paul if he allows himself to be influenced by somebody so transparently selfish.

meh, either way it's a stumbling block in bron's chase. but truth be told, an in-conference rivalry is SO much more interesting than a trans-conference rivalry. bulls/pistons. knicks/heat. MALICE AT THE PALACE!?

I think playing the superteam 4X per year will be the best thing that ever happened to this Wiz team. We all know how the team gets up for the great teams and high profile games.

see, it would be jordanesque except his MOM WAS THERE? everything he does just has a creepy factor to it that boggles the mind.

The central part of the piece is centered at Tao, a nightclub and restaurant at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, with depictions of James, surrounded by Paul, four of James' childhood friends, a man who at one time was in a relationship with James' mother, Gloria, and two employees of Nike, his shoe endorser.

I don't think it was his mom at the party, but rather someone who used to date his mom. We can call him "D West" for lack on an actual name.

Will we even be considered a rival to CLE anymore, then again we may not have won enough for it to have been a rivalry in the first place. No i take that back my beloved skins once had a 9 game losing streak to dallas. If memory serves correctly

I think most Wizards fans hate LeBron rather than the Cavs in general. And the players that Cleveland fans hated like DeShawn are no longer on the team.

How did Boston and Cleveland have a rivalry (when LeBron never beat them) yet the Wizards and Cleveland was not a rivalry simply because we never won?

Markazi describes another scene in which a waiter, apparently suspended aloft by wires, flies in to deliver numerous bottles of champagne. At that point, James reportedly said, "I wish they'd have one of these girls with no panties do that instead of the guy."

James is permitted to hold camps with high school and college players who will be pros in less than a year while at the same time he's basically recruiting them to sign with his agency.

At the July Nike camp in Akron that has all the top high school players and college stars acting as "counselors," there are signs everywhere that agents aren't allowed in the building. Even college coaches aren't allowed there. But Maverick Carter, the head and chief recruiter for LRMR, is allowed to be there and have unchecked access to these players while James gives them free shoes and gets to know them and their families.

Then nine months later his firm is trying to sign some of them to agent contracts. All of this while NCAA officials are literally sitting there in the stands supposedly monitoring that all the rules are followed.

Can you say "LeTamper"? I wonder if this would have been brought up (by a Cleveland newspaper BTW) if he'd stayed in Cleveland.

NBA's 2010 All-Overrated Team
Small forward: LeBron James, Miami Heat

Massages the ball every time he touches it and therefore creates stagnation in the offense. Despite his awesome size and strength, James has never worked to make himself a legitimate threat to score in the low post. Plays and lives as though he’s desperate for the spotlight to always shine on him. Can play hustling open-court defense and can’t be overpowered in half-court defense, but LBJ’s defensive stance is top heavy so he’s helpless against quicker opponents. The most questionable aspects of his game are his off-ball play, his erratic shooting stroke, and the sincerity of his commitment to winning. Simply put, The Chosen One is really a volunteer.

It would have been brought up by a NY or Miami paper in that case :)

Lebron going to Akron and thanking the people of Cleveland and northern Ohio, finally, was a right move.

Edited to add: Lebron's kids staying in school in Akron ... don't want to pass judgement but will say that's got to be rough on them.

Leclasseless decides to dunk on 9 year old kids.

Post#98 » by Gilfanatic123 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:54 am

I know there are other places here to discuss Lebron James... and there is that one other thread where we constantly bash him and whatever his team happens to be at the moment but I feel like this deserves its own topic. Lebron James always is classeless. Like with the decision- he kept everyone in the dark for 2 years. He laughed when people talked about free agency, always telling people he would stay in Cleveland until he won a championship. Then he decided to have a 30 minute press conference, of him talking, just to get all the fans in Miami to love him and all the fans from Cleveland to hate him. He woke up the dormant fans, just to piss the other ones off and create a love hate relationship with them. Then, in the playoffs in 2008 he didn't shake Dwight Howard's hand when he lost. He does that annoying pre-game ritual he does all the time with his hands and sand and he thinks he is like some kind of god when he does it. He just is so annoying- and he's proved his annoyance, or, well shown to the world how classeless he can be when he decided to dunk on these 9 year olds. What do you think? Isn't this a bit much?

http://outofbounds.yahoo.com/?id=21303209

How much longer will LeClasseless keep this up? BTW, I feel this is a big enough subject to have its own topic devoted to it, and, I feel that discussing Lebron's classelessness is something worth discussing.
To do list
==========
1. Fire Ernie Grunfield
2. Get a GM who doesn't screw the fans all the time
3. Beat the Cavaliers in the playoffs
4. Get the no.1 draft pick
5. Get John Wall
