I'm anticipating watching Delonte West guard Lebron from whatever team he ends up on a lot more than I'm anticipating lebron vs the cavs.

I don't think you should include the Patriots with the Yankees and Lakers. The Patriots had to wait something liek 40 years before they won a ring.

Put the Celtics with the Lakers and Yankees.

you have no idea how many of us have been saying that. Being a dolphin, heat and marlin fan i feel excatly just as you said, its always been pats, lakers. Now people actually care about south florida teams and even if its mostly hate, at least people are talking about the heat, hell even the dolphins are getting some coverage because of it

With House, Miller, and Ilgauskas, the Heat should be able to discourage teams from using a zone defense against them.

Yup.. people forget us, "real" fans just say through a 1-15 phins and 15-67 Heat season not too long lol. The only good thing about that is I sat lower level 40 yard line for $10 off stub hub for a Bills game that season haha.

In all seriousness, I want John Barry and Ric Bucher to have to man up and talk about all the role players Miami would NOT get after we got Lebron. MAN UP!

He already is. Remember he started with the heat. "Free Eddie House"

I am ready to say the Heat are legit now. Best pick-up of the off season for them aside for the big 2 and Bosh.

Actually, Eddie House would be the 3rd best pick up behind Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem.

That being said, the middle is STILL swiss cheese.

Swiss cheese alright. Get ready for this to be a household name. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QXLhTFtFXY&feature=fvw

Yes, and it's ridiculous.

I have season tickets and sat through 1-15 from the Dolphins, 15-67 from the Heat, and 5-7 from the Canes in recent years. Renewed every year as soon as the renewal forms came in the mail. Stop all of this garbage talk now. There are plenty of loyal sports fans in Florida, it's just the simple fact that more people here are loyal to football than basketball or baseball (obviously).... but some of us actually share the same love for multiple if not all local teams.

Joel Anthony is a disaster offensively, but aside from the defensive contributions he makes, he sets MONSTER screens. Given how well Riley has filled out the rest of the roster thus far, I can live with Joel, Big Z, Magloire, and Pittman.
