How "close" are they? I don't really understand, because it apparently needs Vijacic to be moved, and I don't think they've found someone to take him yet...

Would be a pretty good pickup for the lakers, I think they might buyout his contract though and maybe sign shannon if possible, if not they can keep him

so i'm assuming its either West, Vujacic, or Brown? West would be a good pickup, as long as he stays away from trouble off the court... but then again, the ZenMan is with us to keep this guy on lock.

to another point... it'd be odd looking to see lebron's mom come watch our home games to support West :cuddle

I think he does get a buy out just so that he is not guaranteed for the full $4.56 MIL, but will also re-sign with the Lakers for $500,000. Mitch like to run with 5 Guards 5 Bigs, so if this goes down we will either re-sign Brown and Delonte or Brown and another free agent guard for the Vet Min i.e T-mac. But I like the idea of keeping Delonte and skipping T-mac

the source of that lakersnation piece is some bleacherreport type of article that anyone can post up. if you read it, its original article sucks and reads like a regular fan wrote it.

feel free to repost with a reputable source.
