You're probably pregnant.

You would certainly know so I'll take your word for it.

Jacobs is taking Wallace's spot in AAA. No way they are going to use Jacobs in the Majors given the log jam they already have. Minor league filler.

Either adding depth in AAA or he'll be used at 1b if Overbay gets dealt at the deadline is what I'm assuming

I think with the guidance of Cito and D-Murph he could return to 179OPS+ form.

If the only trades we make before the non-waiver trade deadline involve Brett Wallace and PTBNL, I will be disappointed. Talk about anti-climatic. Still, lots of time to go.

In particular I'd like to see Buck go so that JPA can get two months in the majors this year. Nothing against Buck - I like him a lot as a player - but JPA is ready for his shot.

Nice cheap pickup, if he can cut down on the strikeouts, you have yourself another nice little bargain.

29 years old... there's an acquisition for the future. Forgive me if I yawn.

Haha, another low-average but possibly-high-power type of guy. If the Jays can't get another near-MLB-ready type of prospect at 1B or a legit MLB starter, I think Jacobs might start at 1B next season, when Overbay is probably leaving.

If the Jays coaches can work with him a bit this season (since Gaston and therefore, probably his 'guys', wont be back next season), they might be able to bring the best out of him. I think he had 2 or 3 seasons with 20 HRs or more in the majors... kind of similar to Bautista (offensively) before coming to the Jays.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

TSN suggesting that it is for Overbay, in which case, excellent work AA

I would have to think more trades on the horizon. These type of guys are dime a dozen and can be had anytime of the year. Dominoes will fall in my opinion.
