If he waits too much longer he can find that he's been skipped by a lot of the other GM's.

No, you can pick at any time. Would suggest to do it QUICKLY. Skipped means other people get to pick before you but you still pick anytime you want.

Sorry if this seems intrusive. Just checking out the draft order here.

Is it simply ABABABABABABABA?

That would favor top ranked teams dramatically, no? I'd assume that ABBABABABABABAB would help bridge the talent gap a bit?

No, it`s not ABABA.

It`s the Standard `Snake Draft`: ABBAABBA, which favors the low Teams early on.

Wow usually it slows down as we move to the later rounds but...wow. Already 2 of the top 5 picks skipped and looks like another one could be skipped as well soon. GMs in the high single digits to low teens could be set if some of these guys before them don't show up.

It's basically still the same group of players just in slightly different orders.

James technically was the 2nd overall pick (since we skipped one GM). Kobe dropped a couple. Who else? The same group of guys will be up next 5 or 6 with probably only one new guy.

Based on trends so far I'm guessing this is going to be a LONGER BAT...both because of the additional round but also because it's already gotten off to a slow start.
