First, let me give my projection of our rotation and minutes distribution:

Harris (34) - Morrow (28) - Outlaw (30) - Favors (26) - Lopez (34)
Farmar (16) - Lee (14) - Williams (24) - James (22) - Petro (12)

As for production, here's an off-the-cuff prediction (pt/rbd/ast/stl/blk on fg/3pt/ft):

Lopez - 21/10/3/1/2 on 51/0/80
Harris - 19/3/7/2/0 on 46/35/82
Outlaw - 14/5/2/1/1 on 44/39/75
Morrow - 12/3/2/1/0 on 47/46/89
Favors - 11/8/1/1/1 on 52/0/68
Williams - 10/5/4/1/1 on 43/37/74
Farmar - 8/2/3/1/0 on 44/38/69
James - 7/4/1/1/1 on 49/30/65

It's gonna be hard for Lee or Petro (and Hump for that matter) to make significant contributions unless we have a few injuries, but this is a GOOD problem to have. All decent teams have excess depth.
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

Since we still don't know our starting lineup I'll make one up:
(Points/Rebounds/Assists/Steals/Blocks)

Harris 19/3/7/2/0
Lee 14/4/2/1/0
Outlaw 16/6/2/1/.5
Humphries 9/7/0/1
Lopez 22/11/4/0/2

Bench:
Farmar 8/3/3/1/0
Morrow 12/4/1/0/0
Williams 10/6/5/.5/0
James 8/3/1/0/0
Favors 9/9/2/1/2
Petro 6/8/1/0/1

If Favors is getting 9 rebounds, I doubt Lopez is getting 11.

Edit: meant to quote Lamak.

Petro 6/8/1/0/1

So we'll average 120-133 ppg??

I see it like this depending on who starts:

Harris - 16/3/7
Lee - 13/3/2 or Morrow 15/4/1
Outlaw - 16/5/1
Favors - 8/7 or Humpries 9/9
Lopez - 18/9/2

Depending on who comes first off the bench:

Farmar 12/3/4 or Williams 11/4/4
Petro 4/4

I didn't feel like allotting minutes so I just gave everyone reasonable averages, even though they all might not see the floor every game.

15% chance that happens. He still has potential to break out.

I think Morrow is being underestimated. If he starts I can see him going off for 16-18 ppg on our team having a real breakout year. However I think Lopez's scoring is being a little overestimated, I see him at 18 ppg.

How do you figure Lopez averaging 18 next year? He averaged 18.8 last year. He'll obviously be getting better and more touches even with Harris returning 100% (hopefully)

Don't you mean less touches with Harris? Far less touches?

I think Avery will have Harris playing the position of PG, not shooting guard at the point position. So technically, Lopez SHOULD get more touches but we won't know until the seasons starts.

Also, teams are not going to be able to double and triple team Brook on nearly every possession, neither are they going to be able to pack the paint.

Brook may very well go off this year for 20 something and 9 or 10.
Doesn't necessarily mean we're going to be very good as a team, there have been numerous lotto teams with stud and near stud 20/10 big men with no legit second option...

I see some of you think the Nets will lead the league in scoring, thats nice.

Harris: 16/6
Lee: 13
Outlaw: 14/5
Favors: 8/5
Lopez: 17/9

68 points from the starters

Morrow: 10
James: 7/5
Farmar: 7
Humph/Perto/Zoubek/Uzoh: 8

Team will average around 98 per game. Twitt will be traded.

^^I don't know if I agree with T Will being traded.

I'm close with most of your projections, but a few changes.

Don't think Lee will get enough minutes or opportunites to average above 11.

I'm thinking Brook goes for around 20 even, maybe 21 or 22.

I think Harris averages about 7.5 apg, maybe 18ppg.

You know what, I'll just jump in and do mine:

Harris 17/7.5
Lee 10
Outlaw 13/5
Favors 9/7
Lopez 21/10

Morrow 10
T Will 10/5/4
Farmar 7/2
James 6/4

The rest of the scrubs - about 7ppg

You can't just add up averages, minutes played and games played vary.
I have 110ppg, but that doesn't mean that is what the team will average as a whole.

Take last season for an example.

NJ averaged 92.4ppg but if you add up everyone's individual ppg you would get roughly 110ppg and I didn't even include Rafer, Quinn, Simmons, Battie, Najera and Sean Williams.

Now our team had a ton of injuries, so that may be a little jaded so let's take another random team and try the same formula, let's say the Lakers. They averaged 101.7, but if you add up individual ppg for their roster, you get... roughly 112ppg.

That is a team with a mainly tight rotation and little injury history last year and I purposely ommitted all players that played less then 50 games, that being Walton and Ammo, so not to jade things.

One last one, another random pick, let's go with the Sixers, another lotto team at 97.7ppg.
By individual stats you're looking at... 111.3ppg and again, I omitted any players that played less then 50 games, including one Allen Iverson who averaged 13.9ppg, which should be accounted for in some way because his scoring was indeed included in Philly's ppg from last season, but I can't throw in his personal raw ppg #'s considering he only played 25 games.

So there you go, that's how guys can put up these #'s while the team ppg stays so low and in hindsight, I think I want to add about two ppg each to my predictions for T Will, Courtney Lee and Outlaw, maybe even Morrow, depends on how tight Avery's final lineup is and how long he experiments with different units...

Alright lets take a stab at this

Starting 5
Harris - 17/7
Lee - 13/4
Outlaw - 15/5
Favors - 8/8/2
Lopez - 20/9/2

Bench
Farmar - 7/4
Morrow - 12
T-Will - 10/5/5
James - 6/5
Petro - 4/5/1

That's 112 and going by VC4P that should work out. I really think as much as Avery said T-Will is a 1/2 that he needs to be the backup 3 with James backing up the 4 (because he is probably better then Hump). You play your best players and those are the best 10. When injruies occur then it will be beneficial to have this logjam (you know it will happen at some point) then we can slide T-Will back to a backup 1/2 and move James to the backup three and use Hump to backup Favors.

Let T-Will be the playmaker for the 2nd unit running the P&R with DJ/Petro with Morrow and Farmar spotting up and lets see what he can do.
