if it's 4-5 mil per year, shannon should sign before that deal is pulled off the table.

I have a hard time believing he wouldn't have signed that contract before it hit the table. I also have a hard time believing the Knicks offered that much money, but hey -- it's the Knicks.

S/T Brown for Anthony Randolph would be ideal.

No it wouldn't because we already have to many forwards on this team.

That more makes a little more sense sense Azubuike can play both SG and SF.

We still have to pay him and it counts against the cap still (See Steve Francis ca. 07/08) if we buy him out, so it is pointless.

He might as well take it, he's not getting anything close to that from the Lakers. This is another example of having a stupid ass agent. You for 1 opt out of a deal where a guaranteed 2 mil was coming your way, only to find you have no value on the market in a year you shouldn't have opted out period.

If the losing Knicks want him so be it let his ass fly east, all they're getting is a less (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Nate all over again.

I have no patience or fell sorry for people who make stupid decisions.

Unless Knicks plan on using the Matt Barnes Imaginary Exception, looks like most they can offer Shannon Brown is $2.6 mil in Yr 1.

Correct. The Knicks can't offer Brown $4-5 million per. And no talk whatsoever about a S&T involving anyone on the Knicks going to LA. Reality: Knicks offering him a 2 year $4-5 million contract. Why he's not accepted it yet since that's really not much (any) more than the option he declined per year value.

Unless we found a replacement first because our depth might take a hit a little. unless Phil plays with a 8 man rotation.

I have to think Shannon wants to come back and mgmt just can't commit until they do dump Sasha....or else he would've signed by now with NYK
