Observation from a Bulls fan

Post#1 » by SpinninHouse » Tue Jul 27, 2010 2:48 am

You guys are frightening. I'm watching a reply of Game 4 between the Thunder and the Lakers and I am really impressed. Westbrook is playing out his mind! KD is a currently a top-4 player and will in all likelyhood be the best player in the NBA in the very near future. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he could average 38 ppg in two or three years. I can't remember ever seeing a player with his combination of length, speed, and athleticism. He's so fluid he has the quickness of a PG. Scary....it really is.

Everyone is talking about the Heat and the Lakers but I think over the next 5 years you guys will be a viable threat to both.

Thanks for the kind words. It'll be fun to watch the guys mature and get better together.

If KD and RW can both cut thier turnovers by 1-2 a game each we'll very very tough to beat VS anyone. IMO

thanks for the love, and i also think people are underrating the bulls this season. All this team needs now is time, in a couple of years when Ibaka becomes Ben Wallace #2 we will be tough to beat.

I can not wait for the Bulls to play the Thunder... The classiest superstar of this Generation (KD) vs the fiercest (Derrick Rose) at least imo ... in a couple of years i see this as a potential NBA final

Haha yeah I hope! that would be fun. First we have to get passed Miami! And for the Thunder the road runs through LA. Although the Thunder are a viable threat, especially when Kobe's play starts to deteriorate. And at that point I think it will be difficult/impossible for LA to stop the juggernaut that is KD.

Thunders don't need Durant to score that much points and if he does he'd be exceeding the highest ppg season Jordan ever had and that's nearly impossible with alot more great wing defenders today than in Jordan's era. But thanks for your nice observation and I hope for great epic games between your Bulls and our Thunder team.

I haven't seen the schedule yet but if that's true looks like the Bulls will be starting the season 0-1.

Bulls beat the Thunder on their own floor last season and with a much more well rounded team this year I wouldn't slot that as some kind of gimme.

It should be a lot of fun though. Hopefully it's a good, close game with no injuries to either side. Best of luck to your squad in the west this year. 8-)

Definitely going to be a tough game.
Bulls are a darkhorse in the east this year - they have quietly built a very strong team

With Brooks V Thibs defensive coaching style I dont see this as being a high scoring game that's for sure.

I look forward to more Westbrook V Rose Comparison throughout the year. :D

Im calling it now, Thunder = 2010-2011 NW Division Champs, and the toughest threat in the West for the Lakers. Go Thunder!
