SJax trade ideas

Post#1 » by Carmelo22 » Mon Aug 2, 2010 3:38 pm

Hey guys i have been extremely bored this summer so i decided to do a franchise on nba 2k10 with the Cats. Im thinking of trading Jackson to maybe acquire a younger scorer with more potentiol or a big man that could help out. any ideas?

OJ Mayo (can split time at the point), Eric Gordon (great outside shooter), or Terrence Williams (dunks on everybody)

As much as I like mayo, i don't think there is a realistic way the cats get him. Maybe Gordon would be a good move but I highly doubt the clips would do Sjax and nazr for kaman and gordon

That's why you trade a future 1st since that's what the real Bobcats would likely do anyways.

I just traded Jack, Nazr, Larry Hughes, and a First for Kaman, Gordon, and Bobby Brown without forcing it through.

^^^Larry Hughes is rated ridiculously high in 2k10 for some reason

After starting another association I didn't force any trades through and ended up with a really good lineup:

Devin Harris/Roddy Beaubois/Delonte West
Terrence Williams/Eric Gordon
Crash/Q Richardson/UPS
Tyrus/JJ Hickson/Leon Powe
Chris Kaman/Ben Wallace/Theo

Had to trade away both of my firsts, though I did get a second out of somebody

I know you guys are just talking video games, but in the real world not much chance of moving Jax's contract. One trade I would love to see happen would be Jax/ Diaw / Damp to Philly for Iggy / Brand.

Hell no! I'm not liking Brand's contract and I'm pretty sure Philly won't either. Thomas is the starter. All we need is a backup PF in that kind of trade.

Come on get real man, S-Jax can be traded and his contract is far from terrible. Then to top it off you say you would "love" to see us get Brand?? Good lord! Oh and you also want to pair the terrible outside shooter Andre Iguodala with Gerald on the perimeter?? Yikes!

Wow, OJ Mayo would be the best option here. He could also play some PG for us until we fix that whole issue.

I'm also a fan of the Jax to Washington for Hinrich and Young option.

I hate to say it but SJax is our best asset. His contract is relatively low for someone as talented as he is. The only sad part about him is that he is getting up there in age.

Maybe I used a bad choice of phrasing. I meant at his age there would likely be a limited amount of teams willing to commit to him for the next three years at that price. As far as an Andre/ Gerald tandem goes tell me between the young Jordan and Pippen which one did you consider the great shooter?
