A Day in the Life of DeMarcus Cousins

Post#1 » by chillfan23 » Mon Aug 2, 2010 2:55 pm

DeMarcus Cousins demonstrated great potential during the Vegas Summer league. I am excited to watch him play with Evans. Dime Magazine followed him around to get an idea of what a day in the life of Demarcus Cousins is really like. Check out the video:

It's a very good video. I seen it before.

It's not from DIME magazine though. It was from the Kings organization itself that followed Cousins.

He seemed kind of bored throughout the whole video. I hope he doesn't start doing stupid things to entertain himself.

I hope he doesn't pull a Evans and drive his car 120 mph down the vegas strip.. not a good look. I think Cousins will be a great player, and I am excited to see him grow under such a great franchise. I think many players have potential but end up in the wrong team, i.e Kevin Love. The kings will provide Cousins with first class training and support. Lets just hope he takes advantage of this and becomes an all star.

P.S I miss the C Webb, Mike Bibby days. Bobby jackson was my favorite player. Good times, good times.

That's an interesting take.

But I think that is his personality though. From what I read about Cousins, off the court, he is a quiet and reserved kid. He opens up when he knows people (friends, teammates and etc). But on the court, he is a different person: more vocal, more of a leader-ish person, shows toughness, can get emotional anytime.

That's normal for a young player or anyone in general.

He didn't seem bored to me. He seemed exhausted and overwhelmed. It didn't look like he wanted a camera to follow him around that day either. What I got out of it was he's willing to do whatever to be a successful pro.
