Rockets with "elite" skills

Post#1 » by Guy986 » Tue Aug 3, 2010 1:15 am

Who are some of our current players with "elite" ability in the Nba? By Elite, i mean atleast top 3 in whatever that they do well in. I think i can name about 3 right now off the top of my head....
1.Yao- post scoring
2.Brooks- speed
3.Martin- pumpfake

Don't think speed should qualify as a 'skill', otherwise Yao has elite height

As long as its arguable then its ok. For example, Brooks speed my or may not be top 3. Guys like Rose, Wall, Devin Harris, Jennings, Barbosa may very well be faster than him. But you can make a case for Brooks in the top 3 for speed. As long as u can make a case, then its fine.

I think speed does qualify as a skill. Like vertical jump, its an ability that you can improve through training and what not. And its something that you will lose as u get older. You really can't change height once you reach a certain age.

btw, i was going to say "Jordan Hill- hair" next  .......so elite anything is ok.

Yes.

That's why I included "quick". Otherwise, Bill Cartwright wins the prize.

Chuck Hayes - Free Throw Lane Violations

Scola - Probably runner up for best hair and arguably one of the most lopsided faces in the league, those two categories in combination make him the #1 most strangly handsome man in the NBA.

Jeffries - Most timid tall black guy

Kmart- Best shaped Nogg'n

Morey- Legalizing Rape

Battier- #1 in making peeps read his palm & sniff his hand simultaniously (aka face guarding)

Lowry- Highest paid backup PG and most baby fat of any NBA player.

Brad Miller- Toughest old white dude (previously held by Bob Sura)

Brooks- Best in a Bow Tie

Yao- Best theme song and the only player in the league thats head is completely flat in the back.
"AB for 3!"- Bill Worrell
