Have to disagree about Barkley; he definitely played here, blew out his leg here, came back here, scored a basket and retired with us.

Barkley played well for Houston. Double-double on a nightly basis. We had to pull the trigger on that deal. Kemp used to destroy us. It was unforntuante when he blew out his knee. And I was at the last game of the season where he scored his last basket. I believe it was against the Grizzlies.

Pippen on the other was a disaster. When didn't give up anything for him nor do he do anything for us. The only things I remember Pippen doing was hitting a half court shot to win a game I believe. He also called Sir Charles "fat". That pretty much sums up Pippen tenure with the Rockets.

1. Yes, Kemp destroyed the Rockets. No doubt about it.

2. No, the deal as transacted (did i just make up a past tense verb?) was completely NOT necessary. The Suns didn't even want Horry. CD, et. al insisted on his inclusion after he beat up Calvin Murphy's pregnant 17YO daughter.......who he knocked up, btw.

Him and Detlef "Can I Buy A Vowel" Schrempf presented horrible matchup problems. Hell, their whole team was a Rox matchup nightmare. Thank God for Mutumbo's Nugget squad, knocking them out of the way...and cocaine, of course. That helped, too.

But it sure would've been easier with Horry. I'm just sayin'. (Besides, nobody actually likes Calvin Murphy. So eff that guy.)
