Heat at Cavs season opener, per Cleveland.com?

Post#1 » by Lane1974 » Mon Aug 2, 2010 6:07 pm

Just saw this, rumored by your local paper

http://www.cleveland.com/ohio-sports-bl ... avali.html

It would generate HUGE ratings for the NBA if so.

Interesting. Lebron couldn't dodge the game like Boozer did the first couple years if it's the season opener.

I think MIA fans will be able to hear the boos all the way from South Beach if this happened. Assuming they don't cancel the game from people throwing stuff at him first.

I hope Cleveland fans don't embarrass themselves. Boo's are fine, I just hope no one crosses the line. I didn't like what I saw at the Indians game with that fan wearing the James jersey.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

I hope you are not being serious. This is Cleveland we are talking about, being poor sports is what we do.

F-that guy in the Heat jersey at the Tribe game, he knew what he was doing.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

"I hope Cleveland fans do not embarass themselves"??? who cares at this point?? People rip on this city enough already, so I reallly do not care what others around the country think or care, because they already have their opinions.

BINGO... I could care less what people think at this point... If they thought we were jokes then, I'm sure their opinion hasn't changed. I don't need people to approve of my city. I know how damn good my city is. So to anybody who has anything bad to say about Cleveland and it's fans... Jump off a bridge. WE LOVE OUR CITY... That's all that matters.

As far LeLoser goes... I hope they do get nasty and I decide to act rash at Mr. Quitter. I could care less what the National perception of us would be afterward. All I know is... I LOVE CLEVELAND... F*** what anybody else has to say.

So we are the ones who are supposed to act with class to a man who did a classless thing?

Maybe we could retire Delonte's jersey when they play here. That would be awesome.

An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

I think boos should be enough or maybe a chant or anti lebron signs and jerseys. Anyone who goes farther than that is dumb. Although I have a feeling somebody is going to do something stupid and cause a heat-cavs brawl which would be horrible for everyone.

Yeah on realcavsfans or whatever forum you guys use there's physical threats and insane ideas that I hope no one is crazy enough to do. At the end of the day its just a sports team, no reason to do something stupid over it.

I have a bet going with my friend that there will be physical violence at the game for $20.

it'll be ugly in there but i think the security presence that night (dec 2) at the q will rival that of awaiting the president. stadium security, cleveland police, the ohio national guard...they all be there and likely walking the aisles and making arrests if anything happens.

i also think chants consisting of "akron hates you," "delonte," and "quitter" will go a lot further than throwing a beer or a battery would
