After announcing today that the Wizards had traded up into the 2nd round, the Wizards have used that pick to draft veteran point guard Chauncey Billups. Chauncey Billups is one of the most intellingent players in the NBA and is a clear cut definition of a veteran. Billups plays intelligently on the court and make the shots when they count. With Billups along with Howard, this gives the Wizards one of the best 1-2 punches so far in this game. Billups is no scrub at shooting the J either. He is a very smart player and will do well with a player like Howard in the paint to pass it to. The Wizards are excited for Chauncey and love what he brings to the table.

You don't think you're overrating Billups a tad bit? Haha. I was looking at the teams and someone drafted Roy and Nash. Why? Roy needs the ball and didn't want to play with Chris Paul. He is a player that needs the ball in his hands and want the ball in his hands. He wants to be the main decision maker. Why not go with a big man after drafting Roy? A player like Bogut would have been perfect for Roy.

I don't think he overrated Billups. I mean, that's Billups.

But yeah, some of these combos are leaving me scratching my head. Crash + Griffen, Roy + Nash, and there was one more I didn't like, forgot.

In my opinion, you can't really judge if a person knows what they're doing what their team or not until after the 4th pick that they make. Cuz those are their core guys...the rest are complimentary.

You shouldn't talk, the way you were talking up your Team in BAT 3.0. Billups is far from a bad pick, and fits his Team well.

Wasn't it generally agreed upon during the last BAT that you can't trade your pick if you're on the clock (since it tends to slow things down and we wanted to expedite things)?

St. Knick....Thanks a lot. TKF and I were set to choose Bynum. However, we have a plan B.

Give me about 10 minutes to make our selection.

...at least we're not breaking our backs working...

newera, sorry bro! my thinking is PG and C are hardest positions to fill, and i feel i got two gems at those positions... perimeter guys are a dime a dozen, can probably pick up a few later on...

I'm doing a summer internship at my mom's company. It sucks ASS!!! I want to get into business, but I don't want my ass to be in a chair on the computer 24/7. I feel like my spine is going crooked in this chair.

im 26, been working in an office for 4 years...

some advice...
1) don't overspend on college (if you haven't already)... student loans SUCK... state schools are just as good as private schools.
2) actually, if i could do it over agian, i wouldve went to college somewhere warm. go to school in Miami, Arizona or Cali... you'll be much happier
3) enjoy life to the fullest before you get a full-time job; always keep your options open;
4) when you do get a good job, don't "reward" yourself with a brand new $25,000+ car. Buy something pre-owned, save the bucks and laugh all the way to the bank

P.S. I'm under teh assumption your around 20-21 years old and in college now... i could be totally off and than this makes no sense at all

1) Still in high school.
2) Staying in state... my sister went to an expensive but crappy college, so I gotta do what's right for my family.
3) Yup
4) I'm into classic cars, so I'll prob end up getting a nice sub- 10k classic. There are plenty of them around.

Just saw your edit -- I'm 16. 8-)

Haha...this is pretty much me right here. In the process of taking out student loans because my dad pays everything out of pocket and the tuition bill is just ridiculous this year since I transferred to the main campus...looking forward to that cubicle though. :P
