This is smart on the NBA's part for opening night ratings.

You've got the Champs (Lakers)

You've got the Eastern Conference Champs (Celtics)

You've got the Big Story (Heat)

And you've got the return of Yao Ming (Houston...and China along with it)

I'm excited for this! Yao vs. Bynum, AB Vs. Steve Blake, Scola vs. Gasol and Chuck Wagon back to his 4 stopping ways guarding Gasol w/ Yao or Miller backing him. Seeing Kmart and Yao play together for the 1st time. Ron ron in the mix. We were the last team to take them to 7 and have the length w Yao & Miller and a developing Hill to compete w/ them. Plus Battier/Ariza on Kobe. Can't wait!

I don't know what you were watching 2 months ago, but the Celtics took the Lakers to game 7, almost won it actually.

I would've liked to see a game maybe against the Wizards or something.(Yao/Yi)

We always have slow starts to begin the season and the arsshole who planned the schedule is the reason why.

Probably will. With Bynum reported to be limited in the preseason because of surgery and Kobe limping into surgery this game will be ripe for you guys to steal.

Spanoulis sighting! lol

While we're taking a trip down memory lane...I remember this one was the 2nd game in the TNT opening night double header a few years back. Hopefully history repeats itself
