How long have the SPURS been playing this song during games?

I was watching a SPURS game a few months ago and was completely shocked when I heard this song being played during a time out.

Now I used to watch the SPURS play all the time during the ROBINSON era.
I am positive I heard the SPURS play this song at the HEMISFAIR and ALAMODOME as well.

This song was originally released back in Feb/March of 1991.

Is it possible that the SPURS have been playing this song during games for 19 years straight now?

I think it is a good song and I LOVE THE 90'S but I also think it has run it's course and should be retired and something newer and more recent should be played.

Well, I don't live in San Antonio anymore. I only lived there for 4 years in the 90s and even then, I don't come to the arenas. I watched them on TV and I just got NBA TV this year to follow the Spurs more. Honestly, either I haven't been paying attention about musics in the background, or they're just not showing it on TV. Aren't musics usually on during timeouts and stuff? That's when the TV goes into commercial.

I have not been to SA in years.

The last time I was there John Lucas was the coach.

Usually only the first 2:00 will get played and then the game gets started again.

It's 103? I remember it being 102.7 KTFM... Radio station right? Used to listen to that all the time.

I do not know exactly where they were on the dial back then but the station identification would come on the air and it went like this...
