I really don't know why you signed back up, you've done nothing but complain from Day 1. I bet they're a TON of GMs waiting to take over for you if you're not happy bro.

Doesn't matter, you're the one crying wolf like a little baby all the time. Relax, and go back to working the comps at your intern job.

It's a GAME.

It's the 2nd round, what exactly do you expect to happen? Most teams still only have one player. The most "out there" thing that has happened thus far apparently is my drafting of Roy/Nash.

I actually agree with 5494, but it's been dull because it's going at a slower pace than usual, and we started this one without even completely finishing 3.0. Mags, TBCH, you should have waited.... and not start until 3.0 is completely done. Why did we just throw it out, when 2k2/Blind/4PP put a lot of hard work into it?

Here's what I think we should do.... Just snowballing out an idea....

4 Hours per pick, but the BAT is shut down from 1:00 AM until 8:00 AM.

So it's basically from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM with a 4 hour advance.

I don't know, picks were happening faster though last time. Things were more lively and there were talks and things like that.

Anyway, 2k2, just curious - when is your next pick. I'm not looking to trade so don't worry about that.

Somewhere in the 5th round. I have a long wait ahead though I really doubt I'll end up waiting till then.

yeah for real... 2k2 spent SO much time doing the sim... with the pics and everything... blind_ made that great spreadsheet (although, I put it in google docs :) ) , LJ4pointplay did a good job collecting contact info, etc etc. We should ALL have come up with some sort of better judging system rather than scrapping it.

I wouldn't mind that timing system either. There's nothing wrong with submitting a pick to a mod or something in advance just incase.

Me and you are in the same boat, when it comes to what round we pick in. I doubt if i wait that long too, but when it gets in the 4th round, i'm sure alot of teams will be looking to package the 4th with 12th, 11th rounders to net a 5th and 6th-8th pick.

I think every GM should PM the rankings to a Mod, because I really wanted to finish that one. We're 0/3 so far, and we came so close on the last one. Why not finish it up? We're SOOOO close.

What exactly do you expect to be going on? GMs are not going to be talking trade with their FIRST PICK, usually that happens after a core is developed and GMs start rethinking their philosophy on how they were envisioning building their team. Yeah, the picks are rolling at a bit slower pace but that's due to dudes holding things up by trying to broker trades while they are on the clock (which is against the rules). Just relax, maybe since things aren't as hectic it's because GMs are putting more thought into how they construct their teams.

I agree on 4 hours per pick but you can't shut it down 1am to 8am because it's not fair to punish those of us who are available late. If anything their should be a grace period from 1am to 8am where you won't be skipped if you miss your pick BUT those who are around can still make their selection if they are on the clock.

Damn! 5th round? You really sacrificed quality of depth by securing that Nash/Roy backcourt.

I built my 3.0 team based on depth. Valid I had Granger and Curry but it was depth that helped me get to the conference finals of the sim.

Now, I want to do it via star power. Change of pace.
