Shaq looking for a home

Post#1 » by Mr. Sun » Tue Aug 3, 2010 8:58 pm

Come on, what do you say?

No more Amare to crowd out. We are kind of thin on the #5 anyways. RoLo's back might not make it.

Plus he is a blast to have around

Sounds like the Celtics are pretty close to signing him. And I still say no thanks, we need a PF not a center in my opinion.

It was fun having one of the greatest players of all time ever suit up for the Suns, but it's a thing of the past. Plus he doesn't fit the smallball system the Suns are going to probably be running next year, and it would be a better fit to give a guy like Hedo time at center.

Your sig says it all. When Gentry thought of Hedo at center, he tossed his cookies. Not saying yes to shaq because he and nash defending the pick and roll together is the worst i have ever seen. But a poll, if you could get Blount (he was mentioned as a possibility) or Shaq, who would you sign right now???

Let him keep looking. I don't that A-hole anywhere near the Suns...

I'm sure Nash doesn't want him in Phoenix. He might try and steal another one of Nash's ideas...

Only if:

1. Shaq agrees to sign for the minimum
2. Childress agrees to take a step back and be a 3rd-stringer for a single season.
3. Hedo is starting SF

G Nash, Dragic, Janning
G JRich, Dudley, JChild
F Hedo, Hill, Clark
F Frye, Warrick, Lawal
C Lopez, Shaq, Lawal

Pretty damn good team. Pretty deep.

Shaq is trying to play for all 30 teams before he retires. Why would he come back to the same team twice? PLUS. EFFFFFFFFFF NO. dude needs to hang it up. he's embarrassing.

No, this team doesn't need Shaq and I'm sure Shaq wouldn't like to play here either.

I guarantee Shaq would want to play here. He had his best year in years here.

No to Shaq. Let him go somewhere else and ruin THEIR chemistry. Not ours.

My money is on the Big Leprechaun going to Boston. 2 reasons.

1. A contender.

and

2. The playing time.

Since Perkins will miss at least the 1st half of the season, Shaq will fit right in. Since BOS can only offer him the Vet's minimum, CLE will do a sign and trade so Shaq can get more scratch and CLE can pull a draft pick or two.

Boston is making its decent back into mediocrity this season and will crash and burn before the NBA Finals as the Big Titanic sinks yet another franchise . Meanwhile I predict that in Miami they will learn why putting three superstars on the same team does not equal a championship no it will equal eliminated before the NBA finals due to a unhappy Lefraud whose ego will not allow him to be anything but the number 1 option which will ware on D Wade and Bosh.

Boston would really sure up their anti-Dwight front line with Perkins, Shaq and Big Baby.
