i read that oezil to real rumor yesterday... ho hum. and where will he fit in that midfield? im really getting sick of all the real and barcelona rumors. here's an idea, sell some freaking players to pay off that massive debt you owe.

wouldnt bremen be better off selling him now and getting something? or maybe they want him so they can qualify for CL again which brings in the bucks.

He would only fit if they'd sell at least one of Kaka or van der Vaart.
It's also been rumored that Murinho isn't a real big fan of Kaka.

It all depends on the price.
Making it to the CL is worth about 15 million euros extra, if i remember correctly.
So everything less then this wouldn't be what they'd sign off.

They could also try to play Oezil during those qualifiers and sell him afterwards, but that would prevent him from playing international games(CL or Euro League) for his new club.

So we'll have to wait and see, but him transferring during the summer is getting less and less likely with every day that goes by.

What do you guys think of the new home-grown rules in the prem? I imagine it just makes it that much harder for Americans to get over there, and it was hardly easy before.

It's already in play by most of those leagues.

In Germany there's the rule that you need a certain amount of players from your own academy under contract.

BTW: Jermaine Jones seems to be healthy again, but i wouldn't expect much out of him, because he's just back after missing a whole year.

epsn has a nice layout but not many scoring cats, its mainly limited to clean sheets, assists and goals. the epl site is the same. i love yahoo for their tons of scoring categories, but they dont have team limits (meaning you can pick an entire team from man u if you wanted). fox soccer site wont let me read their rules w/out signing up first. i think i am leaning towards the yahoo version because of all the scoring categories.

OK, i created a league on yahoo. i really couldnt find a league system that i loved. espn, sky sports and the official epl site have similar leagues with similar scoring. but their scoring is so limited and basic, just goals, assists and clean sheets. that gets boring. yahoo has tons of scoring categories, but their league allows you to make unlimited transfers during the year. i wish i could combine the two types, yahoos scoring + espn other rules.

anyway, i went with yahoo. here is the league.
