Should al jefferson work with karl malone on his offense

Post#1 » by hoopa troopa » Wed Aug 4, 2010 8:01 pm

In my opinion Al Jefferson should work with Karl Malone on his offense. I mean mailman knows the flex offense he could give tips to al jefferson on how it works. Al Jefferson is a great post player but theres always room for improvement. I also feel that al jefferson needs to get to the charity stripe more cause he has such great fakes n footwork that he should use that to his advantage and get easier points.

It will happen eventually I would imagine. Malone seems to be around occasionally.

I imagine they'd focus on passing. That's one thing I'm concerned about when it comes to Big Al.

If Al could learn Mailman's over the shoulder back door pass, he could very well be an MVP caliber big man.

Al Jefferson didn't completely recover from his injury IMO. I don't think he's as good as Boozer. I cannot see him and Deron clicking as well. I think losing Matthew, Korver, and Boozer will make this a totally different team.

Not here to troll or knock the Jazz. Hard team not to like. Millsap is one of my favorite players.

The Jazz will be competitive with Williams, maybe the best PG in the league. However, I don't know how well they can do.

Malone was very positive about the trade, so if circumstance allows, I'm sure he'd be willing to. And obviously AJ would be all-systems-go at the prospect.

if he hasnt fully recovered he should go to tim grover up in windy city i hear hes really good at rehabbing atheletes. Although with key losses in kyle korver, ronnie brewer and carlos boozer, i think they will do better defensively with raja bell, big al, and gordon hayward who is similar to kyle korver but with a higher ceiling and more of a handle.

I don't know who the better player is, but I'm very confident AJ will be better for us. Dude is much more willing to mix it up with guys and live in the paint on offense. Only edge Boozer has is his sweet jumper. Jefferson is much better down on the block.

I think Deron and he will mesh very well. We'll see a lot
more pick-and-rolls, which -- contrary to popular belief -- we seldom ran with Williams and Boozer.

Probably, although offence is the least of my worries as far as Al Jefferson goes.

I don't know how much higher Booz'z BBIQ can be? If it was all that much higher he wouldn't have missed every defensive rotation thrown at him.

yeah we lost like half our team so of course its a totally different team. Give Al a little time and we will see him become better than Boozer, Wiliams and him will do extremely well together.

He should work with Malone, but screw working on his offense, how about he learns from Malone how to play defense.
