It's not always "us". The Raps are one of 30 teams, the Jays are one of...30? teams, and the Leafs are one of 30 teams or something. I don't know the exact numbers. Regardless, someone will get a career best in something against one of those teams at some point.

Shaq's career high in assists was also against the Raptors! OH MY GOD!
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

in 1898, a guy by the name of Babe Ruth hit his 790th Home run against the Blue Jays....... 5th inning, in New York off of all time winningest pitcher in Jays history, "George Constanza"

The record stands till this day

Not just that, but the Yankees play 12% of their schedule against us. The odds were pretty good.

As for his career, we're actually exactly at his median performance by OPS+...which is pretty scary considering he's hit .299/.389/.571 against the Jays.

Wait, I don't get it. What does a single game record have to do with a career record?

You'd have an argument if ARod hit all 600 HRs against Toronto.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
