For the Suns to sign Frye to such a long term deal, the coaching staff MUST be forcing him to develop his defense and rebounding. I think if Frye can bulk up a bit too, I actually wouldn't mind having Frye start for us in a couple of years time.

Frye has potential to become a great rebounder, he's long big and mobile, if he packed on a few pounds to get a low post game, then he could become one of the better PF's in the league.

Frye is a terrible defender. Guy is useless when his 3s aren't going down like we saw in the first few games of the Lakers series. And I don't think he'll ever be a guy who can bang down low. He seems soft and shy of contact. He's like a tall SG in my book. We need him to space the floor and draw opposing big men out of the paint. He was effective in the Spurs series since he drew Duncan out of the paint and they eventually had to switch someone else on him. I'm not expecting much save for a bit better D and physicality. He'd have to work on his mental toughness, bulk up a bit and be more physical. His rebounding will more or less stay the same. Offensive boards won't matter much since he's a perimeter oriented big. Defensive boards, I'm not expecting a signficant increase. Although, can't really say it's impossible since nobody knew he would turn into such a great 3 pt shooter.
