@2010: Huh (the Zodiac thing)?

justaknicksfan wrote:That front court looks scary and since you have LeBron there won't be much need for a top tier point guard. It's gonna be easy to fill the rest of the positions in your starting line up.

I wish I had LeBron lol.

Anyone have any thoughts on my team? It's in my sig.

Thank bro, much obliged. Yep, that was my plan. I have no pressure for a real PG since LJ can play PG and handles the ball most of the time anyway (IE: Offenses run through him). Yeah, protecting him as he drives into the Paint is the 1st thing to do (which the Cavs failed at). I feel I've got a great mix upfront between those 3 Players. :)

On your Team, I like it a lot. I would look into flipping Pierce into a young stud and more early picks to match your style. Pierce and Evans complement each other nicely, and Randolph provides the needed Defense. Great job! :)

RUMOR MILL

kln GM of the Kings was having a disc with an Eastern Conference GM in the chat and has just informed he will take the full 6hrs to make his pick as he deliberates on who to choose between 2 players whom will not named due to anonymity.

KLN loves to name drop in the chat as he feels this will throw some off in the draft process. It's his way of putting everything out there to gauge reactions to see if something sticks. Eastern Conference GM was trying to work a deal with the Kings for the 69th pick to get the draft back on track but the 6th pick appears to be the stickler on a deal getting done.

In the meantime KLN continues to log on and off the chat in a very professional manner to stall the draft

^Yeah he did that yesterday in the Chat too. I'm beginning to believe Q2N8 more and more these days.

Anywhoo, for anyone reading this, any Trade he executes in the next 2 Picks are non valid. In addition, if he doesn't pick by 9 PM, the next Pick is automatically on the Clock (2010 I believe that's you).

We had people try and circumvent the Rules this way in 2.0, and I carried out similar actions then too.

If I'm not around, I trust you guys will be able to enforce it, correct?

Yeah...James should have picked the Knicks in real life...and he's going to regret it.

Oh...you mean in the BAT?

Lebron is obviously Lebron and still the dominant player in the NBA despite being a puss and a bitch. The two guys (Okafor and West) skills both fit Lebron EXTREMELY well...I'd say probably almost perfectly. And with Lebron pretty much being the PG it takes the burden off of having to find a big impact PG.

Real nice job so far. I knew I should have picked Al Harrington for you with your 1st round pick but my conscience got the better of me.

I really wish you would allow me into the rules committee for the next B.A.T. because some things have to stop and should have zero tolerance. There are a few things I'd like to discuss with you in hopes to improve this. We really can have a good time with this where everyone can have fun from start to finish.

I love some of the things that have already been implemented by other posters, adding innovation to our B.A.T. but unfortunately we have some on here who think they are bigger than the event and proceed to tamper and circumvent with childish behavior. Even to the point where GMs are consulting other GMs on what they should do.(Yet many posters didn't like when Lebron/Wade/Bosh colluded and when Ainge/McHale colluded....    )

Posters can call this snitching all you want but what I call it..... is returning the favor of Name Dropping by Name Dropping. If I catch wind of it again I will be informing the Mods of when I do in Rumor Mill Format. Tired of the immature BS when it's time to be serious

As in the words of Jay-Z(modified)......

Mags...I loved the David West selection, perfect PF next to LBJ. Not a fan of the Okafor selection though. Maybe it's just me, but I'd want a guy who has good hands underneath and can finish those passes from LBJ on the inside.

Okafor definitely brings it defensively, but I would have waited on a big with the next pick. I may have just grabbed a guy who can play off the ball and can drill the 3pt shot who just may still be available.

He was the last poster who was left out with 1 slot to go up for grabs with many wanting it during the Selection Process. I specifically said it would not be a good thing to allow him to have the last spot and also noted earlier in this thread that he is the worst participant BY A WIDE MARGIN. I may get on posters nerves myself but sometimes fellas I know what I'm talking about.

He was consulting with an unnamed GM on what he should do with his pick coming up.....lol

He also likes to name drop in the chat as to who he thinks certain posters will pick before they make it and when discussing trades tries to figure out who you're picking for leverage.....lol

Then the exchange we had here on his trade proposal in which he refused to admit he was wrong in how he presented it. To be honest I didn't quite understand the trade rules myself but if you make a mistake just admit it and move on to professionally conduct business

Just an EPIC TRAVESTY of a poster

I put that on your wrinkled up nuts Moocow

I told him Oh I don't know maybe a Zatrillion times to stop doing this in the chat and you'd be amazed at the responses I received.... but I'll leave this alone for now as I'm sure posters will take heed at this point going forward.

I even told him I would make this post and he lol'd and told me go ahead.

I feel like he needs to be made an example of. We should strip him of his team and award the franshise to "I Am Ra"

That would be the only thing that sends a strong message to xKNLx and any future GMs who wish to circumvent the rules and timing of B.A.T. that such actions will not be tolerated.

We should take a vote and I don't know if Mags is still on or not but pending his approval, if 5 GMs agree we should veto him from this current B.A.T. 4.0

I'll make a poll!

I don't think name dropping is a terrible problem. I'd say we're all fairly informed NBA fans with ideas on how to build each of our teams. It's usually pretty obvious who's dropping (like a Joe Johnson).

But waiting around and not drafting? Pointless.

BTW Bluest, do you have Jennings, Collison and Ellis? I might just draft another center to see which of our teams ends up more absurd and stacked at a single position.
