Incredible game by the Mailman. I am amazed at how well he ran the open floor. He was incredible and had very good speed for a man of his size. If he had good handles and an outside shot, he would have been the best ever.

Isn't it incredible how many of his points come from point blank shots at the rim? You'd think a defense could adjust to stop a player that can't score outside of 10 feet (yet). But he gets in there time and time again.

I haven't seen a player that big and that strong move with that much energy and quip since Malone.

I dont think you'll ever see one again. Especially since the league has moved into the "puss player" direction.

Malone was and will remain the best running PF of all-time. He could get a defensive rebound, outlet to the Stock, and beat everyone else down the floor for a layup. Its how he made his living.

I likes the box score from that game.

I was at that game. 8-) This might have been my first game ever. I don't really remember it since I was pretty young. I do remember wishing he had broken Maravich's record.

Jose Ortiz had a nice game. They shouldn't have given up on him so fast. He could have given the Jazz another low post threat which they lacked.

I wonder how that game ranks all time, considering he also racked up 18 rebounds, shot 81%, had 2 dimes, 3 steals, and only 2 TOs. That's an incredible stat line.

Man -- he did it in thirty-six minutes. And John dished out sixteen assists in only twenty-six minutes.

Sometimes it strikes me as if for the first time how **** good those guys were. Malone is one of the best power players of all time, and John Stockton was a **** artist. Honestly, John Stockton is to his craft what Guthrie and Dylan and Frank and Springsteen are to music. I miss him an awful lot.

Outside of Shaq I've never seen such a post dominant player in my life. Oh, it goes without saying that I never saw Wilt lol.
