I would've rathered to wait until after training camp until we sign him to an NBA contract, but its still a pretty good signing.

LMAO! As long as u sign a black big man. LOL.

You forgot to mention Suns also have Lopez. That's 5 white guys.

Indeed, Suns need a force in the middle. When teams look at the Suns big men, they are like, "Okay, we'll be able to dominate these white cats all night long."

At this point with what is available and what is not, I'd bring in Joe Smith or Anthony Tolliver or Etan Thomas.

i realy think that tolliver could be sweet with this team, the same with joe smith. let´s hope the new gm looks it the same way.
leave me alone with the guy who said white men can´t jump, damn

Id be happy with any of those guys, Tolliver has the most upside but I think Thomas if healthy, would be the best fit cos he blocks the odd shot and he's a big bastard. Smith is a smart vet though, and plays a lot like Kurt...

I'd be curious as to see how well he will be able to play on this team, actually I'd be curious as to whether he will get any playing time at all.

Janning is great. My buddies and I used to drink a couple forties and go down to an empty Matthews Arena to watch this kid scorch the likes of Harvard and Vermont. He looks like he's 12 years old, but he can play.

Agree.... but can't fight that wave of Brian-Grant-induced-nausea when really thinking about him. He's 33 and has hardly played the last 3 yrs.

But he's a rough and tumbler... would not be a bad thing to add a dash of nasty to the pot.

If he makes the squad he'll be #13 .... may be #14. I think his value will be to rest Nash in practice. Thats all he is right now... a practice player. I hope he makes the best of his opportunity. Seems like he might be a gym rat too.

He is a gym rat. This is someone whose life is completely dedicated to basketball. This guy might not have the most raw talent in the world, but he is focused and emotionally mature. I think he has a NBA journeyman career ahead of him.

Janning interview in Boston Herald - kid's made a career out of proving his detractors wrong - I like his attitude as much as i like his gamer

I'm really looking forward to seeing him and Gogi out there - should be a good pairing.

Was hoping for someone who was a bit more of a passer to be honest cos I see Dragic as our combo-guard/slasher. He seems to have a pretty similar game to Dragic from the little I've seen of him.
