Fair enough -- you guys win :). You will be the judges, so I need to win you guys over.

RUMOR RUMOR RUMOR!!

Ray Allen has been shagging Turner's mom during practice by the dumpsters. The discovery of this has caused a huge rift in the locker room to form. Since we value Turner much more than that dirty bastard Ray, Mr. Allen is now on the trading block.

We also have proof of you circumventing the Rules again, but notice that I gave you a pass as well this 1 time.

Unless someone physically sees the original pick, and has indisputable evidence without baiting the guy into saying it, I say you have to let him keep the player.

I'm not making a big deal. To be honest I'm not interested in McGee or Favors. We just need GMs to understand once you make your pick and you hit that "submit" button it is etched in stone. But I'm cool on it. Hey man, I'm just tryna play by the rules as should everyone else.

Indeed. As I alluded to before, it's just a learning experience for future BATs to keep a closer eye on Selections when you're on and for GMs to try less and less to circumvent the Rules.

===============================================
Now let's just move on to the next GM to create a controversy.

Anyone up for Drafting Stephon Marbury? :P

Hey, I understand man. And once again I respect the value of integrity. This should hopefully be enough of a topic to make sure no one does it again. If it does happen again with evidence, I will be behind you 100%.

He hasn't provided any contact info yet, but last BAT he used canofpeas.realgm@gmail.com. Although I'm not sure why I'm telling you since you're probably trying to trade him the same guy we're discussing. :D

The worst part of all of this, is why don't we have a rule for not changing picks yet?

Greetings yall,

Mags has selected me to fill the role of Assistant GM for the Knicks. He has authorized me to discuss trades and make draft selections on his behalf. Of course, all trades I discuss would be proposed to Mags before a final decision could be made by the Knicks.

I'll be posting contact information in, well, the contact info thread but I'll post it here too so I can be reached immediately. You can e-mail me at mikelloeser @ aol which goes to my phone so I'll get it quickly, or at my AIM address (not always on) of Miklo1.

Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting everyone.

EDIT: also Mags couldn't recall the chat room location off the top of his head so could someone point me in the right direction?

Welcome aboard. This guy will be a treat addition to BAT. He's active, smart, and all around a good guy. You guys will love dealing and chatting with him.

And yep permission to Draft on my behalf when I'm not around, and discuss Trades of all kind. Also can someone hook him up with the above requested info. Thanks.

You run the build a team right?

How long do the build a teams last? Im curious because i would like my own team and i just want to know how long i need to wait for it.

Also if somebody drops, i am uneligible to take over a team because i am an Assistant correct?

You gotta be kidding me. I instituted the idea of an Assistant GM into this and it feels like I'm the only GM struggling to find one. Am I ugly or something?

Uhh, no we don't.

We've run BATs Year Round. As soon as one finished we've started another not too long after. 2.0 was done during the Fall or Spring, and 3.0 was done during the Spring.

=============================

K20, just prepared and keep an eye out when this BAT finished for the next one's Signup Thread. Now that you're an Asst GM it helps.
