LeBron and Wade can't play together. How can you share the ball?

Who are they going to fill out their roster with? They aren't going to win anything until they do!

Lebron/Wade/Bosh's egos will all clash, implosion for the win. Two top 3 players and a top 15 player will go nowhere.

2. Anger

THIS SUCKS, stop stacking the deck. This is not even fair. This should be against the rules. Screw LeBron, D-Wade sucks. LeBron legacy is ruined!! DAVID STERN INVESTIGATE THIS FOR TAMPERING!!

3. Bargaining

We should all root together against the Heat. Let's all team-up and avoid trading with the Heat.

4. Depression

The NBA is ruined. I can't watch anymore, I am depressed. Why do teams bother playing anymore? Now only 2 teams have a shot to the title, and every other team is screwed. This is bad for the NBA.

5. Acceptance

I've always been a die hard HEAT fan. LET'S GO HEAT!! MY NEW FAVORITE TEAM!!!!

Saw this on another board.. hilarious.. but the funny thing is.. that its true

It's not just the fans;

Otis Smith
"I thought James was more of a competitor. The great ones usually stay in one location.''

Jerry Reinsdorf
"We're a better team than Miami, assuming we get a shooting guard.''

Mark Cuban
"I'm going to bring it up to the league that we really do have to reevaluate the issue of player tampering. There has to be a way to keep these guys away from each other for the last week anyway.''

Hey guys not trying to troll here at all but this is an interesting thread lol. I can admit to perhaps being able to feel the first four but not number five. If it did not happen with the Lakers or the Spurs or Boston since the Bulls last championship in 1998, I doubt it will happen with the Heat either despite how well they may or may not do... :D

Lol, I had to re-bump this. It seems like people are still stuck between #1 and 2, by June everyone should be around 4 and 5

I never saw this thread the first time around.

It would've been much funnier if stage 5 was "ah **** it, we're all going to get steamrolled by that team" rather than them turning into a Heat fan.

I posted this elsewhere but I'll post it again. When I learned it in psychology they had 7 stages, and they can occur in any order or as a combination.

The 7-Stages of Grief

1. Shock

Wade and Bosh announce they are going to Miami. All ESPN analyst waive the white flag and concede that Lebron is also going to Miami. Everyone is shocked.

2. Denial

Fans doubt that Lebron is going to go to Miami and believe that his announcement will prove them right.

3. Bargaining

They beg David Stern to do something to stop Lebron from going to Miami.

4. Pain

The Decision is announced.

5. Anger

Self explanatory, the stage where almost all RealGMers are stuck now.

6. Depression

Deep into the NBA season they begin to realize that the Heat in fact are destroying anything that comes their way. Deep depression sets in.

7. Acceptance and Hope

They accept their teams miserable fate and only have hope to hold onto for the future. The hope? Being able to contend the next decade.

This stage is also there the one where people severely underrate the potential of the Heat team by saying that they have sucky defense. And when they argue that LeBron is somehow not the best player in bball or is "overrated" etc.

(Denial).

There really is noone who will convert to become a Miami Heat fan so that stage doesn't exist.
You guys really shouldn't be fanning the fire because I truly believe that Lebron and Wade are going to have a very public dispute in a game and there are going to be some issue. Too many egos and too many chiefs....syndrome.

Also, sorry but when Riley did his underhanded thing with the Heat to this day we still yell out "Riley Sucks!" at the garden and he wound up losing every time he faced the Knicks in the playoffs. He won one championship with Wade who needed Shaq and then he comes in to coach that team. We (Knick fans) don't like traitors, frown against frontrunners and respect loyalty. He will wind up coaching this team also to get the credit for putting them together.

Honestly I think he should.

In either case, don't U be Mad at my posting on your board. Congrats on getting your big three but they have to show and prove....

Just saying....

Also, glad your following our franchise. When we start winning I expect you will be knocking at the NY door asking to become a fan. No frontrunners allowed. I wonder if you even paid for a Miami Heat game when they were losing...hmmmm?

LOL WTF....the Heat have FANS now??? Holy jeezus, did they finally come out of a 20 year hibernation or something? It took the Heat getting THREE OLYMPIANS for Miamians to give a flying fuq about their franchise...and now they wanna act like they've been fans forever. Where were you bandwagoners when Keith Askins and Rony Seikaly were balling for yall? Why did the arena look checkered when the C's played in Miami a couple months back...in the PLAYOFFS? Worst fans ever. Worst basketball city ever. They don't deserve this kind of star power. They don't appreciate nor care. If the Knicks or Bulls had these three, it would be like going to a Wu Tang circa 1997 concert every night. With the Heat, it's like an Elvis impersonator playing every night.

You aren't the master of the universe telling us who deserves what in life. -- So, unless you want to besuspended, I suggest you stop posting in this trollish manner.

Consider this your only warning.

I don't have anything to be mad about. It is knick fans who are the most :vent: with every single team in the league  at their blunders the past decade with even Clipper fans relieved they didn't have Isiah running their team. Meanwhile, during that time knicks were  and on the verge of :sigh: . This summer knick fans were :D believing they would get Lebron but became  after they believed he had been a lock to come to the knicks. Now all knick fans have to  about is Heat fans getting the player they wanted in the first place. Which is :( because they are  at themselves for not getting the player they had been  for a long time.

Heat fans on the other hand have been :) during the free agency process and then became :-? when it looked like Wade might leave but that quickly turned to  and then became :jawdrop: when Lebron made his decision. And then it became

So I dont think your argument that Heat fans being :curse: has much weight when they really haven't had a thing to be :censored: about in the grand scheme of things. More like :onfire: at the idea of watching their team

And I don't follow your franchise. I don't even bother visiting your board. It is just that your organizations failures have been so publicized that everyone knows about it. Even people who don't follow the nba.

So does seeing a fanbase so "undeserving" of this accumulation of star power make you feel...You know? :banghead:

Does it matter who paid for a game or not? There are TONS of people without jobs to this day in the current economy, and people who can barely afford to place food on the tables of their families. And, you have the audacity to say such a thing? :banghead:

You have to be a comic to make such a statement. -- People can still be fans and die hard ones at that w/o having to go to games. Some people just can't afford it. Ever thought of that? Probably not.

Again, you're on a short lease here and have worn out your welcome. Thread carefully.

I have missed emotion icons  So I couldn't resist the urge to use them in a post when the opportunity presented itself. Last time I got to use them so many times in one post was when Walker was on the Heat. And those were usually angry emotions.

Is this your way of coping over us  I feel sorry for you. Just as a heads up, I hope you realize that crying on a Heat forum isn't going to change a thing. All you draw is pity. Also, if you're looking to chastise Miami fans, you're at the wrong place. Bandwagoners don't write on forums, they just show up at the games when the team plays well. Go to a Miami sports bar or something and ask for everyone's attention and once you get everyone's attention read your post from a piece of paper and maybe someone will care. Was this your method of coping when Boston got their big 3, Cleveland got LeBron, and LA got Shaq? Anyway, I hope you feel better soon :(

Nice post with the smileys Flash

It's always the hater's problem to deal w/ in the end not ours, so no need to take anything to heart because they just need an outlet to release pent up emotions and what better place than REALGM to do it.. I'm a Magic fan first (they got my heart) and Miami second since it's my home team and I look forward to all the success I hope they see in the coming yrs.

Return to Miami Heat
