Argentina d. Puerto Rico 84-79 (OT)

Argentina: Luis Scola 19, Fabricio Oberto 13, Leonardo Gutierrez 13
Puerto Rico: Larry Ayuso 18, Angel D. Vassallo 14, Peter John Ramos 13

Keep in mind PR was playing without Barea, Arroyo, Santiago, Balkman, etc.

No Carl English for Canada. He's not in camp and will not be available for the WC due to injury.

Why do we have Gay on this team? Why do we have Gordon and Westbrook? Why do we have Green and Odom? So many questionable selections...I don't like the fact that we have a bunch of shorties and tweeners on this team. Why not add veterans like Kevin Martin or JRich?

You can still catch second half. It's lithuanian broadcast.

Thank you sooooooo much!
When I finish a game, they ask me "how did it go? how many points did you score?", when the real question should be "what have you done today to help your team win?". - Ricky Rubio.

I saw the game, both teams played like crap. Argentina was mauling PR at the half (up by 25 I think) then when completely MIA in the third with Scola and Delfino on the bench and after Figueroa's injury. PR guards had a layup drill during most of the third and 4th quarter, Scola only came back for the final two minutes of the game and overtime. PR can at least find some consolation on the fact that they had a bunch of players out, but team ARG execution during the second half was beyond terrible and only won thanks to Scolas play during OT, the team is not going to make it to the medal round playing like this.

Brazil 92 x 50 Venezuela.

Nene didn´t play, but the team was very strong, playing good defense and having a good shot selection.

Edit: the boxscore

His injury doesn't look serious since he's still on the bench.
